WARNING THIS GAME IS GLITCHED. When playing through the game if you want to get the Holocron achievement DO NOT I repeat DO NOT change costumes and DO NOT enter any cheat codes. If you do there is a 98% chance you will get the DEFAULT TEXT glitch. This glitch will appear on your mission objective screen. 

Your bonus objective will appear as DEFAULT TEXT. Holocrons will stay at 0/15 (no matter how many you have collected on that particular level). Force score will stay at 0. Even if you collect all Holocrons the game shows that you have not and the achievement WILL NOT pop. This glitch WILL NOT affect any other achievement only the Holocrons collected. I got this glitch on the DEATHSTAR level, which believe me when you have been playing for 12 hours collecting all the Holocrons it’s the last thing you want to see! WHY COULDN’T  IT HAVE HAPPENED ON ONE OF THE EARLIER LEVELS??  Son of a bitch!!!

To remedy this I stared a new game on apprentice difficulty and ran through the game collecting all Holocrons and not changing a thing, while at the same time keeping my fingers crossed that the glitch wouldn’t reoccur.  It took me 3 hours 56 mins to collect them all and yipi ki yay the achievement popped. Hopefully  Lucas Arts will have fixed this glitch by the time I have finished this guide.

Editors note : There has been an update for this game, so this glitch may not occur. But best to be safe and not change anything.

One more thing that pi**ed me off was the difficulty achievements. I played through the game on Sith Warrior which was pretty easy and when I had completed the game, I got stacked points for Apprentice and Sith warrior, sweeeeet.The game then takes you back to the first level so I changed to Sith Lord difficulty and played the game again. Fourteen hours later I finished the game and was watching the last cut scene with a proud grin on my face waiting for the 200 stacked points to pop.

NOTHING.................MOTHER F****R!!!!!!!!

YOU MUST BEGIN THE GAME AT THE PROLOGUE MISSION! That means you must start a new game with no upgrades and slog your way through once again, as you cannot select the prologue at the mission select!  I will tell you now it is NOT EASY, IN FACT IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. 

If I could turn back the clock I would have started the game on SITH LORD difficulty then afterward  started a new game on apprentice for the Holocrons. Ah well I suppose you can look at it this way, I DID IT SO THAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO. What a nice guy I am. (Cough!)

Anyway bitching aside the game is good I can't put it down, (maybe because I don’t want to let the F***ER beat me!) If you take note from above you should have no problems at all and find the game most enjoyable. Apart form the odd graphics glitch here and there. Kicking ass with the force is what it’s about and kick ass you do. Most of the achievements can be collected by playing through the game. Although the MASTERY achievements can only be collected by re-playing levels and racking up kills with the corresponding ability, Force push for example. 

HINT.

If you just want to get to the end of the level it is possible to run and jump your way to the next checkpoint avoiding all enemies. This is a technique that SLAM DA BRAKES will most definitely take on as he tries this with almost every game he plays..

ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE

APPRENTICE    75G

Complete game - Apprentice difficulty. Do not change the difficulty after the game has started.

Complete the game on each difficulty level. MUST INCLUDE PROLOGUE MISSION. All these achievements are stackable. Sith Master will unlock after you complete the game the first time.

SITH WARRIOR   100G

Complete game - Sith Warrior difficulty. Do not change the difficulty after the game has started.

FORCE GRIP MASTERY   20G

Defeat 500 enemies with force grip.

Defeat 100  enemies with lightning shield

LIGHTNING SHIELD MASTERY   20G

Defeat 500 enemies with lightning shield. 

Lightning shield must be fully upgraded.  Charge up the shield and let the shield do all the work.

LAUNCHED   20G

Defeat 100 enemies with Aerial ambush juggle combos.

Upgrade Aerial ambush and make sure you hit them in the air after launching them a combo. X button.

FORCE PUSH MASTERY  20G

Defeat 500 enemies with force push.

FORCE LIGHTNING MASTERY    20G

Defeat 500 enemies with force lightning.

FORCE REPULSE MASTERY   20G

Defeat 500 enemies with force repulse.

PROLOGUE

You start the game as DARTH VADER. (sweet) Your mission is to find the JEDI scum and kill him! You can pick up a few achievements on this level.

WORST DAY-SHIFT MANAGER EVER    10G

Kill 12 Stormtroopers as Vader during the Prologue mission

Have fun kill them all . If you turn around they will  keep coming  up from the rear!

BOSSK    15G

Defeat 200 Wookiees on Kashyyk Prologue

You will notice that there is nothing like 200 Wookies on this level but if you stand on the bridge, the one after the TIE FIGHTER crashes, the Wookies just keep on re-spawning. Just make sure you don’t move too far forward (half way across the second bridge is too far), as they will stop. Just keep hitting them with force push (B) and hack them down with your saber. 

FRENZY  5G

Defeat 100 enemies with Force Push.

All these achievements can be collected on this mission You can also get more achievements on this level by re-loading a new game and starting over. Just use the corresponding move on the re-spawning Wookies until they pop. Or you could get on with the game and have them pop through natural progression. The choice is yours.

Complete Level - Prologue

When you have finished points boosting (if that was what you chose to do) progress to the end of level boss. Use force push and kick his ass while he’s down with your light saber, and when he is almost defeated you will have a short action scene just hit the corresponding buttons to finish him off.

CUT SCENE : ROGUE SHADOW TRAINING ROOM

Follow the in game instructions to familiarize yourself with the power of The Force. You can enter the training room via the pause menu, as you progress through the game. More training and combat exercises will become available.  Complete them all for these achievements.

Destroy 35 Droids

Exactly what it says on the tin. Make sure you get them all as they are scattered all over the game. They are not difficult to find, just make sure you kill everything that moves and this one will pop towards the end of the game.

CORELLIAN STAR    10G

Complete all bonus objectives on one level.

You can check your mission objectives in the menu by pressing select. See glitch section at beginning of this guide if DEFAULT TEXT appears on  bonus objectives list.

INSURRECTION  10G

Complete Level -TIE Factory, act 1

General Koto is easy if you haven’t already upgraded do it now. Upgrade Force Push, push Koto from one side of the room to the other hitting him while he’s down. When he uses his force attacks stand behind one of the two consoles at the bottom as they will protect you. Keep doing this until you get a CUT SCENE this acts as a checkpoint, so if you die you will return to this point of the battle (Nice). Keep with the same tactic until the quick action scene begins, press the corresponding buttons to finish him off.

MINI BOSS

To defeat the JUNK TITAN keep jumping, don’t stand still. Hit him with lightning attacks and throw objects at him. Keep doing this until you trigger the quick action scene to finish him. Move on, to face another JUNK TITAN, repeat last process. Break through the double doors and ride the lift to face Kazdan Paratus.

JUNKYARD  10G

Complete Level - Raxus Prime, act 1

To defeat Kasdan Paratus,  use lightening attack to stun him the beat the sh*t out of him with your light saber. Once you get a third of his energy down, he will jump out of the arena and a Junk Titan will appear. Take him out using your lightening attacks, (this will act as a checkpoint ) and once defeated Kasdan Paratus will throw large objects at you. Avoid these until he comes back down to fight, repeat as before hitting him with lightening, then your light saber. Repeat this cycle until you activate the quick action scene to finish him off. Remember defeating the Junk Titans acts as a checkpoint,  which are really useful on the harder difficulties.

FELUCIA HOLOCRON GUIDE 

THE BIGGER THEY ARE  10G

Defeat 6 Rancors  

There are 4 rancors on this level and 2 Rancors on Imperial Felucia level.

JEDI HUNT  10G

Complete Level - Felucia, act 1

To Defeat Shaak Ti use force repulse to knock her back. Keep your distance from her and try to keep the gas pockets between you both, if done correctly she will run into the gas pockets taking extra damage, just keep using Force Repulse. Kill her reinforcements  to regain health, when you take out half of her health she will jump down to the next level.  Keep your distance and keep on hitting her with Force repulse when she attacks you. Watch out for her taking a big jump upwards , when she does this, keep to the far left avoiding the Sarrlaks tentacles. There is a sweet spot to the left of the gas pocket , if you stand here the sarrlack cannot hit you.  Keep hitting Shaak Ti with force repulse until the quick action scene kicks in. JOB DONE.

EMPERICAL  10G

Complete Level - Empirical, act 2

No real Boss fight here just kick ass and rescue Juno. Raise the power units underneath. Juno to lower the Laser shield and get her out of there.

VAPOUR ROOM  10G

Complete Level - Cloud City, act 2

Make your way to the docking station kill every on until the SHADOW GAURD appears. Take  out all Stormtroopers and Jumptroopers before going for the SHADOW GAURD as these will just get in your way. To kill the Shadow Guard DO NOT attack with your Saber , keep your distance and use force grip to throw objects at him. Keep out of his way and avoid jumping as he has force powers too and will throw you to the ground.  Use Force Dash to move around and keep hitting him with objects until the quick action scene kicks in. Complete the quick action scene to finish him.

KASHYYYK HOLOCRON GUIDE

SKYHOOK   10G

Complete level Kashyyyk act 2

Make your way to the skyhook, take out all the enemies around the skyhooks mooring pins and make sure you kill them all before releasing the pins, as this will make the boss easier. Once taken out, release the mooring pins, after taking out 2 of them OZZIK STURN will come out of the skyhook to take you out. Kill him by using lightening attacks and throwing objects at him until the quick action scene begins. Once defeated finish off disconnecting the mooring pins to take out the Skyhook.

THE HARDER THEY FALL   15G

Defeat 10 AT-ST or AT-KTS

After completing this level, restart the level and kill all AT STs again. Just rinse and repeat until the achievement pops.

INFESTATION   10G

Complete Level - Felucia, act 2.

Defeat the BULL RANCOR, keep your distance wait for the Rancor to charge at you then dash out of the way, turn and slice him up with your saber , repeat until dead. 

CUT SCENE

Now to take out MARIS BROOD , Maris has a cloaking device so the best tactic is to use  force repulse to blast your area. When timed correctly this will hit Marls as she tries to attack you. This will knock her down and make her visible. Dash forward and slice her up. Rinse and repeat, until  the quick action scene to finish her.

DESTROYER    10G

Complete Level - Raxus Prime, act 2

Take out Proxy, Proxy will change throughout this battle to enemies you have previously fought. Use the same tactics as before, alternating from force push / repulse / lightning and saber attacks to take them out. When almost defeated, proxy will pull out a old foe from his box of tricks, old for us that is, but new for the apprentice, DARTH MAUL.  

DO NOT stand toe to toe with him as he will most definitely kick your ass. Instead keep your distance and Force Push him push  2 or 3 times quickly as he runs towards you should knock him down. Then carve him up whilst he is  on the floor, alternate with force repulse ,rinse and repeat until quick action scene. 

Move on and overload the rail gun tracks. There are 4 in total on top of the buildings,

NOW FOR THE MOST ANNOYING PART OF THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!

PULL DOWN THE STAR DESTROYER!!!

Take out all the Tie fighters with lightning attacks. Hide behind the turrets in front of you to avoid lasers, once the Tie fighters have been destroyed, force grip the Star Destroyer. You must align the destroyer using the left and right sticks to pull it down. This is going to take quite while!!!!  There will be another  wave of Tie fighters coming at you after a short while, while manoeuvring the destroyer. Take out the fighters. As you take out the fighters the destroyer, will be slowly moving out of position, so get rid of the fighters as quickly as possible and get back to moving the destroyer. This cycle will keep on repeating  until you pull the destroyer out of the sky (the quicker you take out the fighters the quicker you can get back to the destroyer) This is a REAL PAIN IN THE ASS, the only advice I can give to you is try to get the destroyer parallel  and in the centre of the screen.

DEATHSTAR HOLOCRON GUIDE 

Ok this is it!! MINIBOSS

Pick up the heath drain aura  to your right and take out the 5 Shadow Guards using a variety of force push / repulse and saber attacks. Then take out the final one with the quick action scene.

***SPOILER ALERT!!!!******

Use the force to open door, you are now confronted by the Dark Lord himself. Take him out by blocking and side stepping and counter attacking. When Vader glows red as he uses his force push on you, keep doing this to finish him off. Your timing will be crucial in the harder levels. When you move to the next area use force grip to pull down the barrels from the wall and throw them for damage. Then when prompted, continue with the battle as before.

Complete Game - Dark Side 

Choose the DARKSIDE and defeat the boss as above.

Choose the LIGHT SIDE and take out the Emperor. You will be trapped inside a force field. This is where you take him on and hide behind the consoles to avoid the objects thrown at you. Then attack using all your skills. When the emperor floats into the air, in his shield shadow guard will appear. Take these out to regain health, then the emperor will attack once more in the same sequence as before, rinse and repeat to get to the quick action scene to finish him.

CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE GAME.
