TACTICS

This is an super easy game to get 925 achievement points in about 5 hours. Although, it is slightly time consuming to pick up the last 75 points, as you will have to repeat the last level about 15 times.

Spiderman: Friend or Foe is very linear, but to pick up all available points for level completion, you need to collect all secrets and collectibles. Don’t worry, they are not all that hard to find. If you stick to some simple rules, there really is no need for a guide. But I have provided one if you need one.

Please note that the achievements DO NOT UNLOCK until after you have completed the missions and the game saves.

TIP

To defeat mini-bosses in one strike, use the Hero Strike Power Up. Just press Up on the D-pad when it becomes available. It looks like neon blue handshake.  You can pick up this upgrade on most levels or you can buy it from the upgrade shop on the Helicarrier, but you really don’t need to buy it.

ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE

Tokyo Complete - 125 G

Find all collectibles, find all secrets and defeat all bosses in this location.

Just stick to these simple rules and you should breeze through the levels, without a guide. You can check your progress at the Mission Select screen, if you missed anything. CLICK HERE if you need a guide.

Smash everything you see and I mean everything. Chances are you might find some hidden items or at the very least, get some money.

Look for pressure switches everywhere. They could be on the floor or on the walls. Punch at them if they are on a wall to open them. Behind most of these rooms are the hidden items you need.

On each level, you will need to find a Keystone and then use it to open a Keystone Room. You will need to enter it and defeat ALL the enemies inside. You cannot just enter it, or it will not count.

Because this game is slightly side scrolling, some areas, especially ledges, may not be visible immediately on screen. Make sure you move to all corners of the screen, and investigate all ledges, before leaving an area.

If you miss anything, just finish the mission. The game will remember what you have picked up, so it is quite easy to redo a mission and pick it up, next time around.

Tangaroa Island Complete  - 125 G

Find all collectibles, find all secrets and defeat all bosses in this location.

See “Tokyo Complete” achievement above.

Egypt Complete - 125 G

Find all collectibles, find all secrets and defeat all bosses in this location.

See “Tokyo Complete” achievement above. Please note that on the first mission on Egypt, the Keystone Room is right at the beginning of the level. But the Keystone is near the end. So you will need to pick up the key, then backtrack to the beginning of the level.

Transylvania Complete   - 125 G

Find all collectibles, find all secrets and defeat all bosses in this location.

See “Tokyo Complete” achievement above.

Nepal Complete - 125 G

Find all collectibles, find all secrets and defeat all bosses in this location.

See “Tokyo Complete” achievement above.

Lightning Strikes  - 25 G

Obtain a Hit Chain higher than 15.

Easily done by using a Web Trip on a large Phantom, over and over until you reach 15 hits. You can also quite easily get it doing different combo’s on enemies. Please note that the achievement will not unlock until after you have completed the mission and the games saves automatically.

Combo Meter Master  - 25 G

Fill the Combo Meter all the way to Level 4.

Whenever you kill enemies, the meter on the upper left fills. The meter fills faster if you kill enemies in different ways. You need to keep killing until it reaches level 4, without dying. Otherwise if you die, the meter resets. Easily done in the first mission. Please note that the achievement will not unlock until after you have completed the mission and the games saves automatically

Our Powers Combined  - 25 G

Initiate a Hero Strike Power-Up.

Around about the first levels, you will eventually pick up a power-up that looks like a a neon blue handshake. Press Up on the D-Pad to activate it. Then a cut-scene will occur showing you and your side-kick performing a team combo finishing move. This move is great for defeating mini-bosses in one strike, however you only pick up about one per level. I know, shame we can’t use it on the final boss!

Please note that the achievement will not unlock until after you have completed the mission and the games saves automatically.

Web Slinger  - 75 G

Fully upgrade Web Line with all available modifications.

While destroying items and killing enemies, you earn money (coins) which you can spend in the upgrade store.  After every mission, just go to the left of the Helicarrier where you will find the store. You will need to progress through the story for some abilities to be unlocked to be able to upgrade them (Web Shoot and Web Stun)

You need to purchase each and every upgrade for the achievement to unlock.

Arachnid Artillery   - 75 G

Fully upgrade Web Shoot with all available modifications.

See “Web Slinger” achievement above.

All Tied Up  -  75 G

Fully upgrade Web Stun with all available modifications.

See “Web Slinger” achievement above.

Fury’s Fourteen  -  75 G

All characters are fully upgraded with all Attacks and Attributes.

This can be time consuming. Much like the web upgrades, you need to upgrade each and every character to the max. I counted 15 characters and each takes roughly about 3,000 coins to fully upgrade.

The easiest way to do this, is to do the last level over and over again. You get about 3,000 coins for doing the last level.

There is a cheat, to get about 5,000 coins, but I never got it to work. Maybe you will have better luck. Press UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT on the D-Pad at any time while in the Helicarrier. You can only use this ONCE, apparently.

UPDATE : The actual code is  UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, LEFT. Thanks to phoenixthreat for the correction.
