Not so fast. The Crackdown 2 demo due on Monday will feature achievements to unlock, but unfortunately they will not be added to your Gamerscore until you buy the retail disc and pop into your console. Carrot in front of a donkey tactic. Video of demo below...
This tactic is not far from some Xbox Live Arcade titles with demos, that prompt you to buy the full game if you want the achievement. The achievements in Crackdown 2 look addictive so this is just another way to get you hooked. There will be 100G worth of achievements to unlock so it will be pretty hard to resist once you have started.
Crackdown 2 is due July 6 (NA) and July 9 (EU).
