ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE

All Growed Up - 10 points

Help Maw grow for the first time

 

This will your first achievement just feed Maw A few Yums and there you go

 

 

Destroyer of Yums - 10 points

Find and eat 200 Yums

 

This sounds allot harder than it actually is you will get it eventually while going for Little Planet of horrors.

 

 

Energize - 20 points

With the Bulbous power, electrify at least 50 objects and/or creatures

 

You will first get this power in level 2 so zap everything you see but don’t worry if you don’t get it straight away as you will get the power again in level 6.

 

 

Eyes of the Beloofer - 20 points

With the Loofer power, laser at least 125 objects and/or creatures

 

The only time you will obtain this power is in level 5 so when you get it just walk around mashing A there should be more than enough things to smash and kill but if you don’t get it, you can always replay the mission to finish it off.

 

 

Time for BBQ - 20 points

With the Gastro power, flame at least 150 objects and/or creatures

 

You will get this in level 1 so burn all the trees and as many yums as you can, but don’t worry when it doesn’t unlock, because there are not enough things in the level to destroy. So you have a choice either replay the mission until you get it or wait and wrap it up when you get the power back in level 3.

 

 

You're totally MAWESOME! - 20 points

Complete the entire game

 

Just complete all 8 levels to get this and prove how Mawsome you really are.

 

 

Hard-Headed - 20 points

With the Beetull power, ram at least 50 objects and/or creatures

 

You’ll first encounter one of these giant things in level 3 but you won’t actually get its power until level 7. So when you get it usual practice smash everything there should be enough thing, but if you don’t get it, just replay the level .

 

 

That's Just Gross - 10 points

Find and eat all the Snuffles

 

There is one Snuffle in every level apart from the last one but I won’t tell you why that is

 

Locations:

 

Crash Site: In the river area with the plants that need to be burned, look for a side path blocked off by a large rock. Move the rock by latching on with B and moving with the left stick, and you'll find the Snuffles at the top of the path.

 

Bulb Valley: At the beginning of the level, behind a rock. Move the rock, and continue on with the level. When you have the bulbous power, shock one of the worm things that Maw can't eat, these are also used to disable shields by throwing them at the generator (when zapped). Pick it up with B and bring it back to the beginning of the level. Throw it with Y to disable the shield.

 

Chaindown: Behind the piranha plants that need to be burned down.

 

Dirtlands: In the middle of the level, there are several islands with vents aiding in jumping from one to the next. Take the first vent to the left, and fly straight into another vent that will send you to the island with the cage. Smash the cage with the Maw

 

Looferland: Once the Maw has laser those crazy laser eyes, head to the back of the first open area. You'll see a side path to the left (or to the right if you're facing the green path that leads deeper into the level). You'll find the Snuffles in a cage at the end of this path. Laser the cage and eat your snot laden prize.

 

Mesas: Can you see the area where the Bulbous are gathering their pollen? (if you don't see the bulbus don't worry the snuffle is pretty easy to see) The Snuffles cage is on top of a peak nearby. Once you have the Puff-tor power, smash the rock at the back of this area to reveal a vent that will blow you right to the cage.

 

Beetull Smash!: Right at the end of the level, you'll be in an open area with rock pillar in the middle. Ram the Pillar with the Maw to knock the Snuffle down for your final snuffle.

 

 

Little Planet of Horrors - 20 points

Get 100% Eaten in each level

 

Again like the snuffles you do not have to do this on the last level. When you get 100% eaten in a level you will get a message similar to when you eat a snuffle, the snuffles do not need to be eaten to get 100%

 

Count towards 100%:

 

• Yums (Tip: smash/burn/laser everything you possible can as yum will often fall out)

• Gloobers

• Soldiers

• All power creatures

 

 

Tastes Like Snot - 10 points

Find and eat 30 Gloobers

 

The gloobers are the snail creatures you first have to smash their shell before Maw can eat them. You can do this by either grabbing them with B and smashing them with Y or if Maw has a power he will crack them himself. You will first encounter this creatures in level three but there aren’t enough for the achievement until level 6 (in this level maw can eat them with the shell)

 

 

Ground and Pound - 20 points

With the Puff-Tor power, smash at least 50 objects and/or creatures.

 

You will see these guys in level 4 to eat them you must grab one of the worm things and put on the solid floor, then it will try to eat it but K.O itself on the floor so get Maw to sweep in. To do the ground pound just jump with A and attack with X while in the air there should easy be enough objects in the level, but you get the power again in level 6, so don’t worry.

 

 

Six Meals a Day - 20 points

Play during Maw's six meal times: Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Dunch, Dinner, and Midnight Feast

 

For this you play the game at different times of day the time are 8am, 10am, 12pm, 4pm, 6pm, 12am the time allows 10-15 minutes before or after the hours. There are a few methods to get this. You can either do it genuine, leave your Xbox on for 24 hours with the game loaded in gameplay (this would only work with a wired controller I think). By far the best method is to simply screw around with your Xbox boxes time-zone settings. Load up a level exit so it saves, go back to dashboard and change time again and just keep doing it until it unlocks.

 

 

DLC ACHEIVEMENTS

 

 

Brute Force - 15 points

Get 100% Eaten and Eat the Snuffle in Brute Force

 

As usual with this game just destroy everything to reveal hidden yums. At the end of the 1st part (when the big beetle opens the door) you should have eaten 30 creatures.

 

At the river, once you eat the beetle do not rush through the forcefield. Destroy all the rocks in the path behind you to reveal 2 more yums and the snuffle 33 creatures so far.

 

Then go to destroy the forcefield and eat the remaining creatures in the 3rd area.

 

 

River Redirect - 15 points

Get 100% Eaten and Eat the Snuffle in River Redirect

 

Walk everywhere and destroy everything as usual. When Maw can fly, don't forget to visit the 3 little places in the centre of the map before going to the waterfall. The snuffle is at the beginning of the level, next to the first bridge you disable. Be sure to eat everything before you switch the power as you can’t get back

 

 

 

Speeder Lane - 20 points

Get 100% Eaten and Eat the Snuffle in Speeder Lane

 

An extra level a little bit different from the usual ones...

 

You're in a flying bike that can drop bombs by pressing A. You'll have to make your way through several areas with turrets firing at you. But you can't actually die (well you can but you will just respawn instantly with all damage carrying over), so in fact it's a piece of cake.

 

Just bomb every bunkers to reveal all soldiers and wait a moment for Maw to eat them (He'll do it on his own, no need to lead the way)  For the Snuffle, before the last pre-boss area, you'll notice a very hard to miss big rock on the top of the screen. Destroy it, and the one just near it and here is the Snuffle.

 

For the boss fight, start by destroying all the generators, then Maw will "give" you explosive containers to shoot. Repeat 3 times and you're good to go.
