I remember when video game ads were made by the console manufacturers and all you saw was the tiniest snippet mixed with other games. Nowadays you get 'dev diaries' with detailed walkthroughs like the videos below for Crackdown 2...

Like so detailed they practically spoil any surprises you had for the game anyway. I can understand if it is a new IP, and the developers want to introduce the game play, but everyone is already familiar with the first Crackdown. Everyone knows you blow things up. Crackdown 2 is due July 6.
