This date was speculated before by Edge online and many hoped it would be wrong and be a lot sooner. No such luck. April 8 2011, in gamer terms is 'eons' away. Eons technically in geological terms means half a billion years or more, which sounds just about right. Microsoft have just confirmed the date via a press release and sent us a pack shot.
