According to OXM (via 1Up) EA are changing the NBA LIVE series name to NBA Elite. Being a cynical type, I can see why they have done this. Could it be the LIVE title would turn away punters of the extra cost of EA's online pass....

Of course it would. The words EA and Live lately leave a bitter taste for achievement hunters buying a used game. The NBA Live series have always been a good source of easy points, except now there are on a time limit on their servers. They should really rename the series "Beat the Server"
