CLICK HERE FOR EASY ACHIEVEMENT GAMES 2011

We are all looking forward to the big releases like Mass Effect 2, Dead Rising 2 and Halo: Reach next year, but lets not forget the Easy Achievement Games for 2010. The ones that will appear on your rental list unless of course you are made of money....

Listed below are some of the movie-tie in games that are slated for release sometime next year. Some look bad, some look really bad and others, well ugly. You know you are going to rent them so just suck it up. They will be easy points.

CLASH OF THE TITANS

There are a lot of 80's movie remakes coming out of Hollywood next year and this is one of them. Due in March 2010, this looks like a hack and slash Greek- Roman mythology action adventure that lets you damn the Gods. Another Bewoulf then?

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

A video game based on a animated movie based on a book. Aren't they always that? Not that it matters to us if it is based on a book as we just want easy points from the game. Released in March 2010, the story involves dragons (obviously) and mythical creatures being slain by viking tribes and a boy that saves them. I can smell a collectable list like a mile long from this game.

PENGUINS OF MADAGASCAR

Remember those penguins in Madagascar? Someone in TV Land thought it would be a good idea for them to have their own spin-off TV show. Someone in Video Game Land thought it would be even a better idea to release a Xbox 360 video game with achievements. Stick this in your Gamefly queue now as this is due in April, 2010.

SHREK FOREVER AFTER

There was an insanely placed comic book collectible in the last Shrek game that made me take the disc out and send it back to the developer. The disc was snapped in half of course and along with it a critical review of why they would place a collectible in impossible place, in a game meant for five year olds. I never heard anything back from the developer. I of course, cannot absolutely wait for this one to come out in May, 2010.

TOY STORY THREE

No matter how hard I try, I cannot imagine myself playing this for achievements. No wait a minute, take a deep breath, yes I can. Story : Woody and friends get dumped in a day-care center after Andy goes to college. I think the reason why playing this game disturbs me is that I cannot imagine the achievement list. The game is out in June, 2010.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN : ARMADA OF THE DAMNED

Someone will most likely buy this. I wouldn't. Just rent it. The last one was super easy but it was pretty much the most ugliest game since King Kong. Will the gameplay and the graphics improve on this one? Well they couldn't get any worse. Expected around July, 2010.

MEGAMIND

Animated feature released by Dreamworks and due in November, there is no yet confirmed details of whether there will be an Xbox 360 game. THQ are publishing and they are doing Shrek, Penguins and even the next Kung-Fu Panda game, so I cannot see why not. The animation stars Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt so it looks big budget enough to have an Xbox 360 game with easy achievements.  Go with the flow THQ. [source Gamespot]

MOVIES NEXT YEAR THAT SHOULD HAVE GAMES

Below listed are some movies that are released next year but have no Xbox 360 game, but should have.

The Karate Kid : A remake of the 80's karate-underdog movie being release and no game? This game would have screamed multi-player death matches.

The A -Team : Another remake of the 80's TV show (Hollywood digging up another decade again) and no game? Get a "plan that comes together" and get an achievement.

The Last Airbender : There is a real live action movie released of Avatar: The Last Airbender, but no game? Is it because the last Airbender game was ridiculed? All is forgiven!
