Xbox 360 Saloon?

So I was in line today at Gamestop buying a few games. The guy ahead of me I noticed had a 1600 Microsoft point card. He randomly turns around starts talking to me because I guess he noticed I had 360 games in my hand. He was talking about how he was playing someone in madden and the guy was talking about the Xbox 360 Saloon. He said apparently in the saloon you can gamble microsoft points over various games such as Madden, NBA games, Hockey, Call of Duty, Halo and so on. I thought this sounded pretty cool but I had never heard of it. So I was wondering if anyone else has ever heard of this?

He miss spoke. He meant Gamersaloon.com. You can join tournaments or just bet cash. Don't know about the MS points though. Their are other sites that do this as well. Be careful, not everyone plays according to the rules or MS's terms of agreement on these sites.

Have you ever done it Gun Devil? I just though it sounded kind of cool but Im not sure if I would ever do it. Alot of dishonest people out there.

I have done it a few times and made a little money.

The reason I quit; imagine betting money with all those annoying people you play with that always scream in the mic or think they are cool because they know a couple of curse words. It gets very annoying.

Also those gamers are usually not honest enough to say they lost and often dispute matches, complain that they lost connection, or make up something ridiculous about you manipulating the game. Some gamers leave you negative feedback just because they beat you.

I recommend that you look at someone's disconnect stats and feedback ratings.
