How To upload Avatar & Sigs

Just a quick how to of how to put your pretty picture in your signature, or avatar.

Go to your User Control Panel (User CP)

For Avatars select "Edit Avatar"

You can upload avatars from another website eg Google "Forum Avatars" and you will get loads. There are a lot of gaming ones if you dig around. Choose the one you want and they will give you a code. Copy and paste the code into Option 1.

You can also make your own and upload from your computer. If you want it to be animated, make sure it is 100 x 100. Any bigger and the forum will resize the pic and it will not work.

For Signatures select "Edit Signatures"

You can also upload a signature picture from your computer, however you are restricted in file size and it will be low quality. Members can request signatures here.

1. Simply go to Tinypic.com and upload your own awesome pic. No need to even join. PLEASE KEEP THE SIZE REASONABLE 500 x 300 max.

2. They will also give you a code once you have uploaded. The code to use is the forum code - starts with [IMG]

3. Copy the code.

4. Then go to your Forum User Control Panel. Look under Settings and Options > Edit Signature. Paste the code in the Edit Signature field. (NOT Signature Picture option 1 below) Then remember to click Save Signature at the bottom.

Adding a few more steps to further explain the signature process.

5. Finding your user profile.

Click on the User CP link in the picture below. The words are small in the picture but you should see the red arrow pointing to User CP.

6. Adding a signature.

Click on "Edit Signature" in the User CP.

7. Insert Signature in the "Edit Signature" area. All of the tips in this thread can be used in your profile signature.

8. Adding a picture. You can add a picture from a URL or your computer. You can re-size pictures at tinypic.com.
