DefaultMass Effect 2 Insanity Achievement

Hello everyone.

I'm 50/51 for Mass Effect 2 achievements; loved the game but don't feel up to another play through to get the insanity achievement. Does anyone know what's the quickest way to get this? For example, can I just recruit everyone but skip their loyalty missions and still get credit in the end?

It's still up in the air as to what skipping ALL loyalty achievements will do, some say it'll result in Shepard dying every single time, while others don't.

To be on the safe side I did everyone's Loyalty missions (well that and I couldn't bear seeing a SINGLE person die) but maybe you can get away with just doing the big three (Miranda, Jacob, and Mordus) and still survive but it's all still guess work.

Doing all the Loyalty missions and beating Insanity took me a hair under 30 hours, you could probably cut 10 hours out of that skipping most of the Loyalty missions. But you'll still have to spend time mining planets for materials so you can make all the upgrades on your ship or else things can go horribly bad there.

Me 2 i have all cheevos except insanity. To be honest it takes so much time i don't think i could do it again, dont get me wrong i loved it but 30 hours for i think 75g in the past maybe but now just haven't the time. Good luck if you go for it, could be worse just imagine grinding killing turtles for 120hours on final fantasy lol..

I'm working on it through Insanity at the moment, I'd recommend being an Infiltrator... the ability to go invisible has really helped me, it's incredibly useful aswell when you want to use the 'nuke' launcher.
