It's funny.... I have had my original, release day 360 and I have never had any problems with it yet. I guess I have been lucky so far.... (Now it will die on me the next time I turn it on...)

its so funny when your sitting in front of your xbox, you just pushed the power button and held then guide button on your controller and your controller keeps flashing, and you like, hmmm, why is my controller not syncing? hmm its taking longer than usual. then you get some red light and your like, ooooh, oh gosh, ok, its cool *deep breath* im just gunna turn it off and come back in a few minutes, its cool. No biggy. It happens all the time, i mean ive already gotten my rings.

you come back 5 minutes later and turn it on and your like #@!$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mother#%@#^!!!!!WORK WORK!!!! then you try everything unplugging your harddrive, unplugging everything. ITS DEAD!!

Last time mine red ringed, I bought a new one, low and behold a month later they extended warranties for E74 error (error I had), so yes, I have a back up system now as well. LOL.
