 Gears of war 2 Rank reset?
I went onto gears for the first time in about 6 months and found my rank reset back to level 1. I was currently level 19 when i stopped playing, so why did it reset?

did you clear your hard drive cache? your rank information is stored there as far as I know. other than that, I know they were trying to reset ranks and target glitchers...but at rank 19, you're probably not in that boat
 fortunately, rank 19 isn't too high and you can probably make it back up there very quickly. keep in mind that they permanently doubled the xp from the original values...and they still run special events that double/triple the NEW xp values...so you're looking at 4-6 times the original xp values

LOL glitchers? I didnt glitch once and was only level 19, you think they could put 2 and 2 together. I also didnt clean my cache sooo..

Happened to one of my mates the other day (was level 69 previously and never glitched), basically he tried playing online round his friend's house, but only took his profile and not not GOW2 save data, etc. It then asked him if he wanted to update the 'settings' and he said no, (not realising the implications) ...... et voila! Went to play GOW2 with me once he was home and found that he is a level 1, ranked 5000 something in the world at Execution. Needn't to say he was quite annoyed!!
Unfortunately there's no way to recover from this other then to regain the level through playing, if you can be arsed! Sorry dude __________________
