Introduction:
Pimp My Ride was an early release for the 360 so don't expect much in the way of fantastic graphics and technology. That said the game is surprisingly fun to start with but then gets EXTREMELY repetitive, especially if you end up not pimping the cars 1st time round. But hopefully with the help of this guide you wont need more than 1 or 2 attempts on each.

How to: There are two parts to this game. The cash roam and the pimping. The cash roam involves just driving around the map picking up collectables and ghostriding. You will want to do the ghostriding mini-games last as they will almost definitly put you over the money you need and start the countdown.

In the cash roam you will need to do all the collectables aswell. There are 3 different ones; Billboards, Meters and Cash tokens. Cash Tokens and Cruise locations are marked on your map so those are very easy to hit, but use THESE maps to help you get the rest done as fast as possible. (these are not my work and I take no credit for them. I used them myself to get this game done with ease and they are extremely helpful). Once you have all these done and have found the secret supplier, do the 2 minigames (if you have time to reach both, it won't matter if you only reach one of them) and then move on to the Pimping half of the level.

Pimping can be tricky as you will need to get “Perfect Pimp” for all of them. You have to race from supplier to supplier making sure to get the mini-game done as fast as you can to save you money. You MUST have found the secret supplier from the cash roam otherwise you will not be able to get perfect. The secret supplier is the red star on the map and I would advise getting there as soon as you see it as long is it isn't too far out of your way. Other than that you must hit every other supplier on your map. Along with the suppliers you MUST get all 3 of the Xzibit challenges, so as soon as one is issued haul ass over to the location and get your mystery piece of kit. If you finish them all and have lots of time left you can just pause it and hit “Finish Pimping” and it will instantly finish for you and you can move onto the next one. Some of these might take more than 1 attempt but not more than 2 or 3 hopefully.

If you do everything I mentioned above you should have got every achievement with the exception of

Street Warrior
Speed of the Pimp
Speed of the Pimpee
Ghost Ride the Town
Hot Steppin' Perfection

Chances are you will have all of these except Street Warrior but if you don't you can just load up the cash roam or pimping section of the level and get whichever ones you are missing done. Refer to the guide for more info on these 5 achievements.

Achievement Guide

Ghost Ride the Town - 10
Perform perfectly in a Ghost Riding Event.
Ghost riding events show up as music notes on the map. There will be 2 notes, one for Ghost Riding and one for Hot Stepping.

For Ghost riding you must hit all the buttons on screen in order as fast as you can. This is extremely easy but to make it even easier on yourself do it on Marcias level as it is by far the easiest.

You must get every phase as “Pimpin”

Hot Steppin' Perfection - 10
Perform perfectly in a Hot Stepping Event.
Same as above except all you have to do is hit A as the bar slides past. You must hit it perfectly in the middle. Again very easy and do it on Marcias level.

You must get every phase as “Pimpin”

Crowd Pleaser - 45
Grab the crowd's attention at every Cruise location.
Cruise locations show up as steering wheels on the map. You must hold LB and before you get to them and carry on holding it throughout driving past them. As you drive past them you will be given a sequence of buttons to press. Hit them all and your done with that one. There are 3 locations per level you must do.

This will unlock as soon as you finish the last one in uptown underground.

If somehow you missed one you can reselect the cash roam phases for all of the customer's but you must get all 3 and finish the session to get credit for them.

Xzibit Challenged - 100
Find and complete all of Xzibit's challenges.
During the Pimping phase of the level you will get given these challenges. You will be set a time limit to get to them. There are 3 per level and you must get them all to go towards you “Pimped to perfection” achievement too. Getting these also extends your time.

Beach Pimpin' - 40
Complete all missions in New Wave Beach.
For all “complete all missions in “X”” you don't need perfects but you must win. But assuming you are going for the “Pimped to perfection” achievement you will need to get perfect on all of them. I will be walking through you through these as if you are going for perfection. Also all the maps are not mine and full credit goes to xI MadRoX Ix over at Picasa web albums.

Pimp In The Making - 10
Successfully pimp your first customer.
All you must do is complete one of the 15 customers in the game. You will unlock this after pimping Marcia's ride.

Pimped To Perfection - 135
Pimp every car to perfection.
NOTE! You do not need to perfect Xzibits ride for this achievement it will be unlocked after completing the 15 customer to perfection.

Follow the tips in each the guides above for how to do each customer.

Pimpin' All Over the World - 75
Pimp out as many cars as you can.
This will unlock after you pimp Xzibits Ride at the end of the game. You unlock Xzibits ride after completing all 15 customers. This will be one of the last achievements you unlock.

The best order to do xzibits ride is a follows. You MUST get them all:

Speed of the Pimpee - 45
Get a customer's car speed up to 140 MPH.
In the pimping phase of a customer pick up one of the nitrous cans on the road. LB activates it so get a decent straight and dont crash. This can be achieved on any of the 15 customers.

Speed of the Pimp - 45
Get Xzibit's car's speed up to 150 MPH.
This can ONLY be unlocked on Xzibits car. You can't pick up nitrous on this level either. You get one fill canister from the start and you must use this. Again, get a good straight and hit LB and dont crash/

Street Warrior - 75
Take out 20 RPM vehicles.
This was my last achievement purely because going for these during the pimping phase while going for perfection can be tricky.

After you are done with everything else load up Jasons pimping phase. Head to the rims then to interior. You should now have an xzibit challenge while going towards the bodykit. Do the challenge then while heading back to the Bodykit you should get the RPM car. Your hud will change and you get 2 health bars. Ram the other car until his is empty. Once you have done it pause and finish pimping to save it. Rinse and Repeat.

Blast from the past, wow I remember playing this when it came out. It was before I started to play for cheevo's thanks for the guide good work Barney at the time didn't know what a guide was lol. Don't know if I will go back to that meeeh maybe, I can remember it being one of he worst games ever easy points but aghh I can't put myself through that again.

its been in all my guides now

i use the TA score to judge difficulty sometimes so i figured other people might too.

If anyone wants to test this that would be great. i wrote this guide long after i completed it and i no longer have the game, so some parts might be off.
