I'm getting pretty peeved with Game Room Now.

The only reason I've been sticking with it, is because of that damn 1st achievement I got when I started it for the 1st time. If they stuck to the concieved schedule of a game pack every week, it might not be a problem, but weeks go by between the packs!

I've only got 4 Arcade machines in my Arcade so far, Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Finalizer, Outlaw (Avoid Outlaw, it only has 1 medal

), I just want to wait for some games I actually want, as opposed to games with easy medals ... is that too much to ask

But now I'm getting impatient.

They actually do release games every week, how it works is they release a new game pack once a month (give or take) and every week just update it with new games. There wasn't been a week since April where we haven't gotten new games.

As for quality games... well, I think the problem is they really made it seem like it was going to be ALL arcade type games and not just the Atari/Intellivision era. I mean if you're a fan of uber old school games (and have money to burn, heh), Game Room is a dream come true.

But I'm not personally aside from a few (Jungler is SO much fun), I definitely would like to see some late 80s stuff start coming down the pike.

Yeah I am sorry to say but I agree with classy 100% I expected so much from
this arcade I got caught up in it, I bought about 10 games ( sucker ).

I wanted an awesome arcade that I could invite friends in my party to play and chat.
Was I wrong big time, don't get me wrong I love retro games I still have my original atari 2600 ( all you younger gamers lol I don't care good memories ) but this promised sooooo much and delvered so little. We need 90's arcade games also or else it will die what's wrong with the current arcade titles we buy? So many that would actually encourage a party of players to jump in and play, mortal combat, TMNT , street fighter , sonic , streets of rage, 2 many to mention the they have totally missed a golden opportunity to get players chatting and playing in a community spirit that's what xbox live is all about isn't it?
