TalkingGears of War 2 20x experience points

Starting 22 July through 25 July there wil be 20x XP on Gears 2. So if you are trying to get to lvl 100 for the chievos this would be a good time to do some boosting.

Horde will be bomers with a "special guest" every 10 levels. Dont know what that is going to be but i am sure i will find out shortly.

Wave 1 horde is 2 butchers and a grinder

2-9 is other boomer family things

10 is just bloodmounts and that gearsviking twitter said something about a surprise for people using shields toblock so my guess is bloodmounts can jump lol.

Horde - Security on Insane is an easy way to boost your rank/xp this weekend if you can only manage solo. Rinse and repeat just wave 1 each time.

Other than that, King of the Hill Boosting is a sure fire way to jump up ranks very very quickly. Rumoured that to go between 1-100 takes 10 hrs once you get going

For anyone here in the States. That is a 6 hour time difference compared to CST. So that would make it 4pm CST.

You need to set up a social king of the hill match for 5 people. Can be made up of real people and guest/second controller but no more than one per person. Another group of 5 should be set up ready.

One group launches the game and hopefully it will put you up against 5 bots. As soon as it launches, the other team of 5 should search for a game and hopefully it will match you with the other 5 (thus replacing the bots). It will not always work first time but stick with it. Once everyone is together you never need to matchmake again and can boost away to your heart's content.

The teams should add everyone to their friend list and then mark them as preferred player in order to increase the odds of you finding the match.

Once in the game one team enters the "ring" gaining 200points. One member of the opposing team keeps breaking the ring and then leaving it ( a bit of "in out" if you like ) each time that member leaves, the team in the ring is getting another 200 points everytime. They should rack up 118 points for the team (top left of the display) and then swap with the other team and repeat the process to allow each member of that team to gain the 200 points over and over until the whole team again reaches the 118.

It takes 120 to win a round, so decide which team is going to win because they will obviously get even more points for winning. Repeat it all till eventually the whole round is over (best of three).

Everyone will have racked up loads of points/xp which is then multiplied by 20. It's the quickest way to rank up.

This might not be the best explanation, apologies in advance. If you're still stuck, type KOTH boosting in google and I'm sure it will all become clearer!
