Everyone should have jumped up 1 position in the leaderboards if they were below 7. I have decided to take a short xbox retirement, i`ll still be active as always on the forums but out of the 100's of games i own i spend most of my time loading the disc up, then hitting eject 5 mins later.. Clearly i need a break from it..

I`ll still do the gears boosting and such like, since those chances don't come around all that often..

But in general its time to put my second love to bed for a bit

and put my main love first for a change..

Having almost played it daily since 2007 thats not bad going i guess even though i didn't have a clue what achievements were really all about at the start, i have this site to thank for most of my current points, i just thought it was an annoying little pop up which kept getting in the way of the game play lol...

Anyhow, thank you to everyone who has played online with me and helped me along the way.

Im sure i`ll be back before you`ve even noticed me gone, but i need to recharge my batteries

It happens to us all mate, as you may remember i took 6 weeks out last year and very nearly packed it in for good and this year i have took a two week break(mainly to set up my other love, my marine aquarium

) and just last month i had the 'game in...5 mins...game out..sit there look at my collection..game in..5 mins...game out..turn console off' syndrome, I even sold three of my consoles

Give it a few weeks and you will get you head straight

plus there are loads of new games out soon
Oh and don't forget about gears2 and res5 or you will feel the full wrath of johnnie

I have that problem all the time sticking the disc in and then taking it out after 5 mins (since 2006)

Anyway take a good long break and from scoring.

Suppose this is the gaming equivolent of checking yourself into the Priory Doon

We will do our best to ween you off in the coming weeks ala Gears2 and Rez5

The side affects of such great gamerscore that has beseeched the gaming greats of Doon and Blain must be heeded as a warning to us all, so we wish you well Doon in your recovery.

OMG i was as shocked as you guys when dooney got up this morning and told me that he was now putting his computor b4 his 360 lol

trust me i know dooney ...he has retired from leader boards but there is noway he is gonna give up playing so you will still see his little "pop" comming up especially when i start " Dooney come shopping ,Dooney help me with the DIY lol that will chase him back
and if that fails i will get my nagging head on that always works ...sssshhh dont tell dooney but i would hate for him to give up something that he really enjoys .
p.s HELP its started he just shouted get your shoes on we going B&Q (DIY store for those who dont know)

Noooooo stop him from going to B&Q(is it a megastore, home of great value diy goods and condiments), i fear we will lose him as soon as he sets foot in the store and sees the wealth of goods on offer

Supermum, you can help ween him off achievements by setting your own outside his beloved 360

1. One Coat Wonder - 50g
Doon used dulux one coat to full affect

2. Up and Down Kid - 75g
Doon painted the fence Karate Kid style

3. Hammered - 100g
Doon did all the DIY with just his hammer

4. B&Q Loyalty Card - 150g
Doon maxed out the credit card and found all the collectibles

5. House Husband - 200g
Doon surprised Supermum and did all the house work without
prompts

This should help you get started. In the meantime, he must come out of retirement for Gears this week
