Halo Reach - Lt Colonel achievement glitch

Just got 1000g last night I waited until I reached rank of Captain until I used the glitch otherwise your achievements will be in the wrong order.
The last achievement that most people will get in the game is buy an item from the armoury that requires Lt colonel rank, that means you have to earn about 570,000 cr.
You can first get this at the rank of warrant officer, but your achievements will be in the wrong order you should have captain rank cheevo 1st that's up to you it will not get you the Banhammer either way!

1st at warrant officer you need 50,000 cr and access to the blue visor.
Click and hover over yes to buy item do not press A yet.
Just as you are about to press A pull down on the left stick at exactly the same time! The cheevo will pop for 10g.
The system thinks you are pulling down onto the item underneath an item of Lt Colonel rank which unlocks the cheevo.
You do not spend any cr you also do not recieve anything from the armoury just 10g so you are not doing anything wrong, it's just a glitch, it was discovered by accident not by me think the guy is called XavyGravy. I know for a fact a few thousand people have got this cheevo this way I knew about it for over a week but I waited until I reached Captain to do it but I can confirm 100% it works.

Bungie know about this glitch and have stated it will be fixed in the patch supposed
to be next week.

If you are at Captain rank do it with the knee gaurds 25,000 that's what I did it with. Just make sure they are the item above Lt Colonel item.

If you are the Major rank use the shoulder gaurds think they are 12,000 or the chest piece which is 8,000 cr remember make sure you have enough Cr and it's the item above the Lt Colonel rank item. Pull down on left stick press A exactly the same time.
Some people have accidently bought the item by mistake pressing A button to soon. I found if you just barely move the left stick slightly down just before the sweetspot it helps some controllers have a slight delay if you use them alot.
Hope this saves somebody 40hours of grinding, trust me it works 100% check my bungie profile i am only Captain rank but I have the last cheevo!

I was going to post up a video you beat me to it Slam, couldn't do it on the phone. That's how it's done, it's so stupid this was not found in testing I bet you somebody at Bungie got a rap on the knuckles for this!

I posted that I had 1000/1000 and mmmmmmmmeh asked how to gt to lt. colonel fastest. I posted a link to the video then.

of course now I'm almost lt. colonel anyway

Thanks Wannabe didn't realise u posted this already didn't see I anywhere on the forum! I posted it only when I could confirm it worked, even though I knew well over a week before!
As they say great minds think alike, also it might be worth saying Bungie are releasing a patch next tue to stop this and a few checkpoint glitches in the game Flawless cowboy, ONI sword base and many other minor issues in the game so u have been warned get it asap or else grind, grind, grind.
Blain you can get to Warrant officer really quick because you commendations are probably very low try the ONI sword base checkpoint glitch, or just play a few games of Gruntapocalypse or sniperfight in score attack.
