So over the past year I've completely stopped using my mic due to the increase in over the top trash talk on XBL. I only use my mic now if I'm in a party with people I actually know. I'm tired of these 14 year old kids using racial slurs, homophobic slurs, and in general just being very disruptive. Anybody else feel this way? I feel MS should make the same effort Bungie made with Halo Reach by doing a player psych profile. And possibly offering an age group selection. Any thoughts? I know they can't police the chat channels, but a better effort to make it more enjoyable for adults would be nice.

I think MS should do that or something similar. I still use my mic but usually end up muting half the people that I get grouped with.

I didn't mean to offend. It's not all teens. It's everybody. I just used a poor example. Sorry. But I'm sure you've notice how some players ruin the communication aspects of mp games.

I agree with you I don't put my mic in unless I am playing with friends or people I know. I am only 19 but am mature enough to the point where that stuff just gets on my nerves.
