Okay, so as you can all see, I have a pretty low gamerscore. This is due to the fact that I used to not really think about achievements and gamerscore. I bought games to just play them whether is be a sports game, or halo type games where I just played with friends online. Lately I have been going for achievements more often and am starting to get up there but I am still very low. Anyways, I am going into the United Stats Air Force in 7 months or so, and when I signed up, due to the nature of my job, I will be getting quite a large signing/enlistment bonus. So what better way to spend some of that money than on games that are FUN, and decently easy achievements. So basically, for anyone interested, just name a few (or alot) of games that you enjoyed playing and got alot of achievements for that you would recommend I try. That way when I get my bonus I can just take a long list of games with me to some game stores and load up for the 7 months before I go to basic, and then when I get stationed and get my own place so I can boost my score, on decent fun games.
EDIT: Im not talking just new games either, new and old games I would still be able to find at a game store.
I know there are lists of easy achievement games on the front page but Im not the kind of guy that wants to waste money on games just because the achievements are easy, I like to enjoy the game too.
If you are wanting to boost your score then the games on the front page is the best way to go. I have raised my gamer score by about 50K since June by using them. In some cases you can max out more than one game in a day. Just try not to pull your eyes out with bad story line, voice overs, and animations.
I only buy games that I like. All of the other cheesy games I get used from Gamestop. I use their 7 day return policy so that I get all of my money back. Most of them you can max out or come close to it before the 7 days are over. You can also rent through a movie store or Gamefly. I use Gamestop because it's free with the return policy.
I recommend you don't stock up on games before you enlist. When you are transitioning to your first duty station it will be less to drag along with you. You never know, you might get a room mate that has a game collection and then you could share.

I completely forgot they have a 7 day return policy... So I can go in there, buy avatar, bring in back the next day for a full refund? As long as I have the receipt I assume.
In most cases you need the receipt. If the staff get to know you they can look up your transactions on the computer.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I forgot about the 7 day return policy thats awesome.. So technically, not sure if this would be a good idea or not, you could buy a game, take it back 6 days later for a full refund, buy it again, and continue this until your done with it and never pay for it?
