Conan - Weapon Achievements

I know this is an old one but picked it up at EB/Gamestop for $3.99!

My current save is at the squid where I got the throws and half of the grapple achievements.

At this point in the game, I still don't have the disarm / shield strip achievement.

Should I go back to an earlier save or continue on and start it from a new playthrough?

Wish I could offer advice but I haven't played it yet. Does anyone else know?

i just played this about 3 weeks ago. I'd say u still got a shot but you cant get every weapon upgrade in one run through so since you have to ply through again id just concentrate on 2 weapon types per run through.

I'me working on the dual wield & one handed weapons list in this play. Only have a couple moves left for both, but the shield strip is harder to get as the guys counter more. The dual wield isn't too bad but the one handed moves are a little harder to pull off.

I ended up going back to an earlier save to finish up the single & dual wield weapon achievement.
The rinse and repeat method does not work in this game (play a certain area over and over again to get Impales,disarms,dismemberments)
I finished on normal so song of death has unlocked.
I read somewhere that the quickest way to get the dismemberments is to activate song of death and do a grapple kill. That or a dual wield parry kill with X button.
I'm gonna start another playthrough and try to get those in the first couple levels along with the two handed master achievement.
