Portal 2 DLC will be FREE!!!!

Read that Portal 2 DLC will have a ton of new features. The DLC will have a leaderboard, new test chambers, and single-player challenge modes and cooperative multiplayer challenge modes. Check it out here.

That is the only complaint i did have about Portal 2 no leaderboards how much time for challenge how many portals etc.
The fact that the new DLC is free is amazing i would have paid 1200 msp lol

Depending on how many challenges Valve is adding will determine if they could justify charging some amount. It sounds like it will be a lot of content. I most likely would have paid. The game just brings out what coop is meant to be IMO.

OK so it's getting real close to mid-September and I can't find anything on the pin-point release date for this DLC. Has anyone else found anything???

mid-September is the 15th

still about a week for them to announce :3 Though since no date was set i fear it is getting pushed back

Great find! I was upset that it didn't release on time but like the article says better late than never.

I also merged both Portal 2 DLC threads.

ok - first off when you just start the disc, your going to be asked to update it BUT do not be put off when you start the game and see that the up date is only 3MB,

just accept it.
then when that is done, you will see on the title screen menu a new "download FREE dlc' it is at the bottom and the DLC is 1.37gig

so heres to seeing more co-op,
