Warning - Red Faction Armageddon

First off the game is great and quite easy to get get 1000g, i have 895g.
All i have to do was finish on insane it unlocks hard also, it is very easy because you can unlock/buy cheats and carry over all upgrades when you finish the game 1st time.

I am really pissed now i was in the middle of my insane runthrough, on a section of the game it freezes everytime. For those who have played it happens on 2nd playthrough newgame + when you have to get on the Gondola. When you pull the switch it freezes, i was thinking maybe just me but everybody is complaining on the official website.

A patch is said to fix the glitch, some bad coding blah, blah, blah so if anybody is picking this up wait until the patch. Besides that the game is great very short and easy about 6 hours but i loved it. There is a Horde style game Infestation it's fun fast and great, achievements are get to wave 30 i did all 30 waves solo it's cake.

Thanks for the heads up. I tried to get this yesterday but my store was sold out, so i paid off Dungeon Siege 3 which comes out next week.

Ok finally got a work around!

1. Tried using new save on usb stick, still freezing.
2. Installed on HD still freezing.
3. Reverted back to a manual save from previous level game still freezing.
4. Tried killing myself by jumping off the ledge in the L.E.O. to reset, no still freezing.

Finally what i did maybe just pure dumb luck, when i got to the section where you pull the lever to activate the gondola.
When you hold the button immediately pressed to quick dodge, for some reason it missed the freeze. It worked so that's all that counts.
This is the only way i could get it to work, i repeated this a 2nd time and it worked again just to check it was not a fluke.

The game did freeze about 20 times on the exact same spot, previously so this is the only possible solution that works until the patch. Hope this helps somebody, if you get the same problem.

Thanks for the heads up and for the work around. Hopefully there aren't any other glitches and the the patch fixes this one.

you can just play through the game on insane 1st and then it wont glitch.... im LOVING this game

Playing through on easy myself like Ireland no1 said and no freeze yet its really a great game never played the first one might get it on the cheap now not sure how far your in but the chevo 175 kills in the mech suit is quiet easy i just jumped of the cliff and the kills seem to stay and it just reloads checkpoint before you got the kills small bit of a grind,really good game

Insane seems easy enough to play it on, you get such huge upgrades from doing the infestation 1st so that what i did. Its actually easy if you just stand back and use weapons such as the nano rifle, rail gun and ohhhhhhh yeah the singularity cannon :P

I did not know infestation helped with upgrades, also can you unlock chevos on this mode i know about getting to level 30 but is there any more for this mode,?
