Anyone play RAGE?

[FPS GLIMMER]

I played the demo today and I absolutely LOVED IT! I plan on renting it 4 days when I have to return Halo Anniversary.

I think the game is a definite rental. The graphics are amazing and so is the game play but the game is really short. When it ends you will be really surprised that there weren't a few more levels/chapters.

I keep hearing after you finish the first disc they seem to rush it along. It just remind me allot like fallout. I hope the game is pretty open world based but I wouldnt mind if it wasnt.

It isn't open wold at all. You have different areas that you travel to but their is only one way to get to them. I thought is was going to be a free roamer but no luck.

I played it and did not like it, it plays great and looks good but for a shooter i just found it annoying that you had to go "shopping" before a mission because if you had the wrong stuff you would miss something.
Just gritting my teeth and getting what i can now so i can trade it in, wont be getting the 1000.
You may like it though seems i am the minority here.

FPS 4 days should be enough time to 1k it. 4 long days

To each there own blain. It's any game, I hated duke nuke but theres 100 people on the site that would say I'm smoking crack and it was the best game of all time!

Give it a spin FPS. Looks great has a little texture popstory is ok but short(maybe a lead to part 2), some rpg elements, base shooter, good controls and last but not least what this site is all about easy points. Unless your like blain and can't stomach it, but you probably played HM and or MHAM so this should be a cake walk.

A couple of quick tips. The wing stick is your friend! Played through the whole hard campaign almost with only that weapon. It owns! Do as many side missions as you can. Get the driving side missions done early to pump up your car so its easier to get around and not take much damage. Also only upgrade the first car as you will use it more and save the rest of your upgrade points for the last one. You get 3 different cars. I think that's where blain messed up at. First run is most def not a speed run. Learn the game then 2nd run will go in half the time. Start on hard it easy as long as you do the side missions and get all the gear you need. Plenty of maps on the net for the card collectables. Ireland has a thread with money glitches on the 1st and last disk. Oh yah and have fun with five finger fillet. The one and only hard cheevo in the game. Some took hours to get and some minutes, me it took hours.most important don't forget YouTube. Lots of good cheevo tips.

I am doing it.........just not enjoying it
Please don't let me put anybody off this game though, i am sure you will like it
