![]() www.variety.com Publisher Electronic Arts is hoping to cash in on the popularity of the "Fast and the Furious" films. According to a Variety report, EA hired producer John Gatins and writer George Gatins to create a pitch for the movie to shop around Hollywood. According to the report, Warner Bros., Sony, and Paramount are said to be interested with Paramount being the current front-runner. EA last released Need for Speed: The Run in November, which sold 700,000 copies in its first month in the U.S. alone.
