Any other mma fans?

So there are threads going up regarding different sports so I'm curious to see if there are any other MMA fans on this site.

Personally I am a big fan, although I haven't watch as much over the last 9 months. Occasionally the bug bites me and I am back to it. So anyone else into MMA?

Massive fan myself,i stay up very late to watch the fights live because of the time difference,i trained in Muay Thai and Boxing but dont as much with work but always love to watch the UFC and K1 if you have not seen it already you should check out tiger gym Thailand on youtube all the UFC fighters go there to train before big fights

I've been into MMA since 1999. I've even been certified by the Army as a professional bad-ass.

I thought it was a great idea when the UFC started showing fights every other week but then realized that $50 a pop was too expensive. They also started watering down the cards also. It's not too often anymore when you get more than two really anticipated fights on one card.

You trained in Muay Thai too! That's awesome! I started with very simple kick boxing and ended up training in Muay Thai for 3 years with a personal trainer when I was in New York. I loved it! I miss that kind of intense training, so much fun.

I trained Judo as a youngster and did a brief spell of kick boxing. Nothing to rave about.
Kind of miss more regular strikeforce shows but I guess that's life. Couple that with the dead JMMA scene I did lose a little interest in wat hing mma. Sometimes a good fight gets my attention though. Weirdly I still keep up to date with it all and read stuff everyday, even when I'm not watching lol.

Don't follow it near as much as I used to as my daughter rules the TV for now...til Christmas anyway. I try and keep tabs but it's hard. Sad to see the sport waning at the moment, but hopefully it will sustain.

As for training, I studied Aikido as a teenager, but that was over 20 years ago. And i am not in condition enough to even think about trying it now.....

So I make this thread and now there is news to talk about! UFC151 is cancelled....Hendo got injured and Jones refused to fight Sonnen on short notice so the event got canned =O

So what do you think of Ronda Rousey? She's sooo hot! And she's got some skills. I'd like to see her fight Cyborg Santos, would be a good fight I think.

Anyone watch her behind the scenes show on Showtime before her last fight? She's a little odd, but so hot.
