For those that have played this game, when does the below achievement pop, i have scored about 550 with one guy and it did not pop, is it when the ashes are complete?
I am still on the first match 660/0

Ashes King with the Bat - 50gs
Score 500 runs in an Ashes Series with a single batsman in single player.

I remember when I played the game the achievement for the bowler popped before the end of the Ashes. Maybe try and finish the game and see?

Also, have i scored enough runs(660/0)to win? if so do i just get bowled out or can i declare or something, as you may have guessed i know nothing about cricket

660 should be more than enough.You cant declare on this game which is a real shame, when the bowler runs in just step away from the wicket and let them bowl you out. just make sure you bowl them out for less, if you are playing on easy this shouldnt be a problem.

You can declare in test matches (maybe not the ashes) just before the first ball of the over hit pause then erm team tactics (I think) then declare.

i think you can declare if you pause the game and go into options or something im sure you can i maybe wrong.

Theres no shame in playing on easy now come on =D
I actually found that in this game graham swann was more useful to me than Anderson, seeing as spinners seemed to work better.
