Along with the Dashboard Update, Xbox.com will now also get the lifestyle look. The clean white background and pretty people having Kinect fun. See pics below if you don't believe me. Also you can play browser games although no indication you will get achievements for playing them....
So many changes all for the Kinect launch? According to a report by The New York Post, the estimate I gave for Microsoft spending 100 million to promote Kinect was not even close. They are apparently spending 500 million dollars! If Microsoft make just $20 profit on each Kinect $150 Kinect unit sold, they will need to sell 22 million units to pay for the marketing. Who are their accountants?
Xbox.com Update will occur today (Oct 20th) at 5am EST ( 9am GMT ) and Xbox.com will be down for a short period.
