This week will see some minor tweaks to your Gamertag and a minor mandatory update to the dashboard. Gamerzone - which practically did nothing anyway - will now be dropped from your Gamertag as in the picture below...

Gamerzone was introduced as a way of determining who you played online with by setting up your preferences. Did it work? In all the years that I have played Xbox Live, I still got matched with random people in different zones. So NO would be the answer to that. Next, the dashboard and Xbox.com has gone all white and but now MS have introduced a grey and black Gamertag? Why not make it ALL black? So WHY would be the answer to that.
