A close source to Eurogamer has confirmed that Borderlands 2 is in development. Not exactly news flash news, but it is nice to know that something is being done about a sequel. Or are they just raising the level cap?

Now that Gearbox have finished with Duke Nukem Forever, time to get down to the real business of creating more Claptrap.

Borderlands 2 is due in 2012.
