What is that pic above as I can't work it out? Is that a mini-me inside a helmet? Never mind, a new Earth Defense Force game is coming and it is called wait for it...(dramatic pause).. Earth Defense Force : Insect Armageddon...

 

You fight an invasion of big metal spiders and bugs. The last Earth Defense Force game was super hard and it had a nightmare co-op mode called Inferno. Beat the game on co-op and you are awarded with 300 points, except your partner gets nada. Zip. Pretty hard to convince some random person online, let alone a buddy to do. There were only six achievements so I think it was really one of those early games where the developer was clueless about achievements. I am sure it will not be the same when the bugs come to invade.

 

Earth Defense Force : Insect Armageddon is due 2011.
