This is the fourth instalment in our Member Of The Month series. It has been a few months since the last instalment and to help boost participation in this series, we have a special guest. If you're reading this article chances are he has helped you with some achievements. He has written numerous guides, news articles and worked relentlessly on updates to the site to make sure we can all fulfill our achievement desires. So without further ado SLAM DA BRAKES
My real name is Andik and I am an editorialist at Kombo.com as well as a writer for this site. I lived in the UK for 15 years and have recently moved back to Australia.
When did you get into gaming and how long have you been playing?
Last Thursday but I have only seriously started getting into gaming into this week.
Why did you pick the Xbox 360?
While living in the UK, having previously owned a Sega Mega Drive, PS1 and a PS2, I accidently picked an Xbox 360 as it came free with a mobile phone. I then spent over £160 that same day on games and accessories. I used to be into PC gaming, however every time I bought a game I had to upgrade my system. Really annoying, so I moved to console.
When did you get into achievements and how?
When SHADYSHEEDY got an Xbox 360 six months later, we had achievement battles. I am still winning by the way SHADYSHEEDY, although he admits now that he is no longer that interested in our battle?
How did you come about making this website?
During the achievement battles I had, there was no real concise source to find the easy achievement games. You had to really dig around forums and gamers in the same situation asking the same question ; What games are easy for points? Or if a new game came out, is it easy points? I figured there must be a niche for a site somewhere that categorized these games into one convenient place for achievement hunters and those in battles.
How long did it take to start the website?
This website started as my own blog about easy achievement games and where I would post only my own achievement guides. One of my first members was Blain. It then moved to crowd sourcing i.e. a more community based site where I accepted contributions and where it stands today. It is a small community, as not everyone who plays the Xbox 360 is into easy achievements and understands the mentality of seeking easy achievements.
Why did you not simply join another gaming site instead of making your own?
See answer to question five. I had one guide taken down at x360a.org once which annoyed me so that kind of settled it. If you think I did this site for the money, after all the prizes in contests and forum license fees and host fees, this site is just breaking even.
What are some future plans for the website?
One of the reasons I joined Kombo.com is that they grant me better press access. I get invites to live previews like Call of Duty Black Ops Multiplayer or Halo Reach and access to gaming conferences. Although I have never been yet as they are all in San Francisco or LA, I want to use that access to build a better news site here as well. Finally hopefully to be able to give away decent prizes, fingers crossed. Also hopefully better and bigger Gamerscore challenges.

What are you doing when you aren't playing Xbox 360 or working on the website? What are your hobbies?
Vulcan mind melds, concrete surface tennis, night badminton, pro-am golf circuit, bareback horse riding, deep sea scuba diving, pro skateboarding, low ride go-kart racing, Karate champion (twice), free fall sky diving, live ammo war games and writing cooking books.
Back to Xbox, what are the hardest or most annoying achievement you have obtained?
Ask SHADYSHEEDY, I don't do hard. I run if at all possible. Well, ok I have done Mass Effect on Insanity if that counts? Or My Horse and Me 2 on Professional.
What are the worst games you have played for points?
I play ANYTHING for achievements and nothing is too low. My Horse & Me included. Jumper and Pirates of The Caribbean all have their purpose although Jumper I couldn't bear to finish it. When Kinect is released, there will be very dire games like The Biggest Loser ( a weight loss game NOT FPS multiplayer ) and Your Shape. Will I play these for achievements? Does a bear crap in the woods?
Any closing remarks?
