Notes:

This is a PC Only game and cannot be played on your 360. You must go HERE and download the Games For Windows software so you can play PC Live games and get achievements for them. After you install the program and attach your Xbox Live tag to it, go to the Marketplace and download Where's Waldo. As always, make sure your PC can meet the hardware/software requirements before buying because there are no refunds.

At publication time, there are issues with the achievements not updating to your profile after unlocking them. I kept replaying levels until my profile finally updated to resolve this.

Despite most of the achievements saying you can do it on any difficulty, I still recommend going for all of them on Normal Difficulty. There have been issues with a couple of achievements not unlocking on Kids Difficulty.

The locations of all items change everytime EXCEPT for the Scrolls. The Scrolls are always in the same place each time you play a level.

ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE

The Journey Ends (Kids) - 30 points

Finish the game on the Kids difficulty setting

See The Journey Ends (Normal) achievment for more information.

The Journey Ends (Normal) - 30 points

Finish the game on the Normal difficulty setting

Difficulty achievements do not stack, meaning you'll have to do a full playthrough on each difficulty. There are 12 Worlds total to complete, each with three sub-levels per world. I recommend starting on Normal first so you will unlock the majority of the achievements on your first playthrough.

Friend to the Stars - 40 points

Earn 180 stars in the Single Player mode on the Normal difficulty setting

You earn stars by completing each sub-level. The faster you can finish it, the more stars you can earn. Five stars is the max you can earn per level, meaning you'll have to get five stars on all 36 levels for a total of 180 to unlock this achievement. You can replay a level as many times as you want until you earn the full five stars.

Wizard’s Apprentice - 10 points

Find 50 hidden items in the Single Player mode on any difficulty

See Master Explorer achievement for more information.

There He Is! - 20 points

Find Waldo 20 times in the Single Player mode on any difficulty

There are only 12 Worlds in the game, meaning during the course of one playthrough you will only find 12 Waldos as he only appears once per world. This means you'll have to replay eight levels (or the same level eight times) until this unlocks. It will unlock the second you find Waldo for the twentieth time so you can quit out after that if you want.

Junior Explorer - 10 points

Find 100 hidden items in the Single Player mode on any difficulty

See Master Explorer achievement for more information.

Master Explorer - 10 points

Find 150 hidden items in the Single Player mode on any difficulty

During the Waldo quests on each world, you will have to find between 8-15 additional hidden items like certain animals or people. Finding 150 of these will unlock the achievement. You will easily get this by the time you finish a playthrough.

Bone Appétit! - 10 points

Find 10 bones in the Single Player mode on any difficulty

On each world there are little dog bones hiding in the picture. Simply find ten of them to unlock the achievement.

Hot Dog! - 5 points

Find a hidden item using Woof in the Single Player mode on any difficulty

When you find a hidden dog bone, this gives you the ability of using Woof to help you find a hidden object. In the lower right hand corner of the screen click on Woof (when he has at least one dog bone next to him) and he will help you find the hidden object by changing the search cursor to red the closer you get to the object. Upon clicking on the object the achievement will unlock

Seeing Black and Yellow - 20 points

Find Odlaw 5 times in the Single Player mode on any difficulty

Odlaw is the black and yellow version of Waldo who tries to sabotage your searching. He will randomly appear during worlds, simply find him five times to unlock the achievement.

Photo Finish - 5 points

Complete a Wenda quest in the Single Player mode on any difficulty

On some worlds Wenda will ask you to help her find some hidden items. Simply complete one of these quests for the achievement.

The Swamp Stomp - 10 points

Find 30 swamp creatures in the Single Player mode on any difficulty

During the Odlaw quests on certain worlds, you will have to find Odlaw's pets a/k/a the Swamp Creatures. They are black and yellow versions of birds, snakes, and iguanas. Finding 30 of them over the course of the game will net you the achievement.
