Without warning, the legendary game that is Doom has been pulled from Xbox Live Arcade. Along with it Double D Dodgeball. I know, you were just about to buy the two and then they pull it...

Reported by Gamerbytes, it guesses that it may be a publisher issue. Whatever the reason they should at least warn us. Doom was for me, and many others, the first PC shooter and it's graphics were cutting edge circa 1993. I always thought I would download it for nostalgic purposes someday. Not anymore.
