To avoid the question, this is a different game than the FIFA 2006 Road To The World Cup. This is the actual world cup game. It is also a terrible game and I would not recommend it at all. It only has 5 achievements but the game play is just terrible. You can't run in diagonals you just run in straight lines and it is really hard to control your player. Passing is pretty awful too. Well here goes the guide now that I ripped the game apart.

 

 

ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE

 

 

Complete all Scenarios - 500 points

Complete all the Challenges in Global Challenge

 

This achievement is very very hard. Like I said the gameplay is tough in general, and a lot of these challenges are just really, really hard. You do not have to get all 3 medals for every challenge though, just get bronze. The only tip I can really give you is if you are struggling with one of the challenges, go to the other teams roster and change it around. Put defenders on offense, and offensive players on defense. Put in the back up goalie. Anything you can do that you think will give you an advantage. It's just a really hard achievement not much else I can say. Keep at it because that 500 GS for one achievement is nice.

 

 

Win the World Cup - 250 points

Win the World Cup in 2006 FIFA World Cup Mode

 

Not hard, just start up a World Cup pick the team you want, I choose USA because thats where I am from, but if you feel more comfortable picking a better team then do that. You can put it on whatever difficulty you want so put it on Amateur if you feel you need to do that. Three games in round play and then the tournament style stats. Win all the games up to the championship and then win the championship and you got a nice 250 GS with ease.

 

 

Qualify for the World Cup - 150 points

Qualify for the World Cup in 2006 FIFA World Cup Mode

 

This is another easy one, just start up a qualifying tournament. It can be whichever one you want, I chose Oceania because they were the least amount of teams, so I figured it would be the shortest. Once again put the difficulty down and you will have no problem winning all your games. Play all the games including the friendlies and it will unlock once you finish your last game.

 

Beat the Host Nation - 50 points

Beat the host nation Germany in a full match

 

Just like it says, beat Germany. Start up a game against Germany, any difficulty once again, and beat them in a full match. That means you have to play a full 90+ minute game and win. On Amateur it isn't that hard.

 

 

Complete a Scenario - 50 points

Complete any Challenge in Global Challenge

 

Obviously you will get this one on your way to completing all the scenarios. Just play the first scenario and you should beat it without much trouble and this achievement is yours.

 

As I said before, the gameplay for this game is pretty bad, but hey, its a 2006 game. This game is a very easy 500 GS, but completing all the scenarios will take you a very long time. But I hope this guide helps you get as much GS out of this game as you can without going crazy and snapping the disc in half.
