Notes:

 

Each difficulty requires a separate playthrough. You cannot select the last level and play it on whatever difficulty you are going for (a la Bourne Conspiracy or Blacksite). Fortunately a playthrough is less than three hours, this is a VERY short game

 

All your kill/weapon stats carry over to the next playthrough. Say for instance you start the game on the hardest difficulty and only get 40 headshots. If you get 10 more on the next playthrough you'll still get the achievement

 

Most of the online achievements can be done in Player Matches with just you and a friend, but four of them are Ranked. To start a Ranked Match you need four people in the lobby for it to begin. The best way to boost this game is to have a party of 4-5 people, HOWEVER if you only have yourself and a friend there still is a way to boost. Both of you join a ranked match with other people, find a nice hidden corner of the map, and have one kill the other until they win the match.

Each achievement requires a full playthrough on whichever difficulty to unlock. There are eight levels in total, each playthrough taking less than 3 hours. On the lower difficulties this becomes even shorter, as you can take more hits before dying and can pretty much run past enemies to the next checkpoint

Double Tap - 30 points

Complete an entire mission using only the pistol (Single Player)

 

To unlock this you have to complete an entire mission without using ANY means of killing enemies besides the pistol. You cannot use grenades or kill moves. It is best to do this achievement on the SNAFU mission during your Recruits playthrough.

 

 

Getting Your Gun Off - 30 points

Kill at least one enemy with every weapon in the game (Single Player)

 

Get a kill with each one of these weapons:

 

 

 

 

They are all very plentiful during the game and you will not miss any as long as you check all the bodies/ammo rooms you come across during a playthrough.

 

 

Frag Out! - 25 points

Kill 20 enemies using grenades (Single Player)

 

Simply get 20 kills by throwing grenades at enemies. Enemies love to bunch up in certain levels so this will come pretty fast during a playthrough.

 

Now THIS Is A Knife - 30 points

Kill 30 enemies using kill moves (Single Player)

 

To get a Kill Move, get close enough to an enemy until you see an on-screen prompt telling you to press A. Get 30 kills in this manner for the achievement.

 

 

Never Knew What Hit Them - 20 points

Kill 50 unalerted enemies (Single Player)

 

An unalerted enemy is an enemy that has no idea of your presence. On your on-screen radar they will be indicated by a Green Diamond (Yellow means they are suspicious and Red means they know you are in the area). Kill 50 of these enemies either through Kill Moves or a headshot with a silenced weapon.

 

Improv - 25 points

Kill 20 enemies using explosive objects (Single Player)

 

The levels are filled with explosive objects: flammable barrels, gas tanks, fuel containers, exploding crates, and vehicles. When you see an enemy near one of these, shoot it until it explodes. Get 20 kills in this fashion for the achievement.

 

 

Guns Don't Kill People, SEALs Do - 25 points

Kill 30 enemies using sniper rifles (Single Player)

 

The Dragunov is the Sniper Rifle in the game. Get 30 kills with this gun for the achievement.

 

Supressing Fire - 25 points

Kill 20 enemies using blindfire (Single Player)

 

Blindfire is when you are up against an object in cover and press the Right Trigger to fire the gun above your head. Try to move your aim cursor towards the enemy's head for a headshot to get easier kills. After 20 the achievement will pop.

 

 

Are These Guys For Real? - 30 points

Kill 50 Spetznaz. (Single Player)

 

A Spetznaz is a Russian soldier in a black facemask and camo fatigues. Kill 50 of them for the achievement.

 

 

Health And Safety - 25 points

Blow up 20 fire extinguishers (Single Player)

 

Fire extinguishers are all over most levels, shoot 20 of them once for the achievement.

 

 

Migraine Breaker - 50 points

Kill 50 enemies with head shots (Single Player)

 

Aim for the skull of every enemy you face until the achievement pops.

 

 

Gang-Bang - 35 points

Kill a group of 4 enemies with a grenade (Single Player)

 

The four enemies must die from a single grenade explosion, it will not count if you throw a grenade near an explosive object and the explosion from that kills the enemies

 

NOTE: The best place to get this is on the DOY mission. There are several instances of four enemies standing together, but the ideal chance comes towards the end of the level. There are three missiles you have to attach bombs to, with the last one being in a closed off room.

 

After you put the bomb on this missile, a metal door at the end of the room will slide open and four enemies will run out towards you. Throw a grenade at the bottom of the door while it is opening and the explosion should kill all four just as they run out for the achievement. If you miss, kill yourself with a grenade and try again as the checkpoint is right before you put a bomb on the missile.

 

Dick Would Be Proud - 35 points

Complete a mission without dying (Single Player)

 

Go through an entire mission without dying. Best done on the SNAFU level during your Recruits playthrough.

 

 

Military Budget - 30 points

Kill 5 enemies with an assault rifle without reloading or changing weapons (Single Player)

 

You must get 5 kills with an assault rifle, never switching guns, throwing grenades or using Kill Moves in the process. The best way to do this is go for headshots every single time as they are a one hit kill, as this will give you extra bullets in the clip in case you miss.

 

 

Come Get Some! - 20 points

Kill 5 enemies with a shotgun without reloading or changing weapons (Single Player)

 

Very similar to the Military Budget achievement, only the shotgun has much less ammo than the assault rifle so you really have to make every shot count. Fortunately the shotgun has a very wide burst at close range, so pretty much any shot that hits an enemy will be a one hit kill.

 

Ninja - 20 points

Perform 3 Kill moves in a row (Single Player)

 

On the SNAFU mission the first three enemies you see will have their backs turned to you. Simply sneak behind them and do Kill Moves on each for the achievement.

 

 

Curb-Stomper - 20 points

Perform 5 Finishing moves (Single Player)

 

A Finishing Move is when an enemy is lying on the floor still alive and you walk up to them and get an on-screen prompt to press the A button. To get an enemy to lie on the ground shoot them in the torso or stomach several times until they fall down and start shooting at you.

 

 

Chop-shop - 20 points

Destroy 10 vehicles (Single Player)

 

To destroy a vehicle shoot the front of it until it starts on fire, and it will blow up a few moments later. Do this with 10 vehicles for the achievement

 

 

Over The Top - 5 points

Throw an enemy over a ledge (Single Player)

 

Whenever you see an enemy near a ledge or a window, sneak up behind them and do a Kill Move. If they're close enough to the edge, you will throw them over for the achievement.

 

 

Not The Face - 5 points

Smash an enemy's face into a wall (Single Player)

 

Whenever you see an enemy near a wall, sneak up behind them and do a Kill Move. If they're close enough to the wall, you smash their face into it for the achievement

 

 

Fresh Off The Boat - 15 points

Play online once (Multiplayer)

 

Simply play a game on Xbox Live, it can either be Player or Ranked. You can actually do this by yourself in a Custom Match since you can start Player matches with only one player in the lobby

 

 

THREATCON - 25 points

Place first in a Ranked Deathmatch game (Multiplayer)

Spec Warrior - 15 points

Kill 3 people in a row (Multiplayer)

 

Get 3 kills on Xbox Live without dying. This can be done in either Player or Ranked matches

 

 

SEAL Team Six - 10 points

Play a Team Deathmatch to completion with at least 3 friends on your team (Multiplayer)

 

You must complete an entire Team Deathmatch game with three other friends from your Friends List, win or lose. This can be done in either Player or Ranked matches.

 

Note: This is the achievement I recommend having four other friends for. Start a Player match with a total of four people on one team and one on the other, then alternate until everyone has the achievement. If you do this in Ranked against strangers, you run the risk of them quitting out mid-match and voiding the achievement for you.

 

 

Smack The Rogue - 25 points

Come first in 10 Ranked Deathmatch games (Multiplayer)

 

To come in first, you must score the most points in a Ranked Deathmatch game. You get 15 points for a Kill Move, 10 for a gun/grenade kill, and 5 for a kill assist. The first person to 350 points wins the match, or whoever has the highest points total when the 10 minute timer ends. Get 10 wins in this manner for the achievement

 

 

Friendship Is For Suckers - 20 points

Kill someone on your friends list (Multiplayer)

Perform a kill move on a friend (Multiplayer)

 

During a Player or Ranked match simply kill a friend on your Friends List with a Kill Move for this and the Friendship Is For Suckers achievement

 

 

Decorated Veteran - 20 points

Play 50 games online (Multiplayer)

 

Play and complete 50 Xbox Live games of any mode. Player and Ranked matches BOTH count towards this achievement. You can actually do this by yourself in a Custom Match since you can start Player matches with only one player in the lobby

 

 

From Beyond The Grave - 20 points

An enemy dies from your grenade … after you have been killed (Multiplayer)

 

In a Player or Ranked match you must have thrown a grenade towards another player, have them kill you, and then they must die in the ensuing explosion for you to get the achievement

 

 

POTUS - 25 points

Place first in a Ranked Team Deathmatch (Multiplayer)

 

To come in first, you must score the most points for your team in a Ranked Team Deathmatch game. You get 15 points for a Kill Move, 10 for a gun/grenade kill, and 5 for a kill assist.

 

 

Special Warfare Group ONE - 25 points

Be on the winning team for 10 Team Deathmatch games. (Multiplayer)

 

Simply be part of the winning team in a Team Deathmatch game. This can be done in either Player or Ranked matches.

 

 

Host Me Up - 5 points

Host a custom game to completion (Multiplayer)

 

From the Xbox Live menu create a custom game and complete it, win or lose. You can actually do this by yourself in a Custom Match since you can start Player matches with only one player in the lobby.

 

 

Legion Of Merit - 50 points

Finish each map in 1st place (Multiplayer)

 

There are six online maps total, be the points leader on each in any game type for the achievement. This can be done in Player or Ranked matches.

 

 

One Man Army - 30 points

Kill 200 enemies (Multiplayer)

 

Kill a total of 200 other players from any game type for the achievement. Kills you get in BOTH Player and Ranked matches count towards the achievement.
