News from PAX via Kotaku is that Aliens Colonial Marines is still a work in progress. Gearbox has assured us that the project is still very much alive. This game was first announced over two years ago and brushed aside by Sega for Aliens vs Predator...

 

Kotaku managed to take some handheld snaps of the game at Penny Arcade Expo 2010, but they look very blurry and tilted. Catch them here. If you can make them out, they look almost like a new Alien film. If your eyes are squinting too much, you can settle for the concept art below, courtesy of Gearbox.
