Hello everyone, Nwehrman11 bringing you a guide for another 'Cars' game in the series. The previous two were pretty easy and this one is no different. I would say about 5-10 hours at the most and you should have this game 900/1000 GS.
Note : The OVER ACHIEVER achievement worth 100 GS is glitched and will not pop.
ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE
PLUGGIN' AWAY! - 25 points
All Sparkplugs collected from all races
Sparkplugs are in the Gold Event Races which is indicated by a gold star on your map. There are 3 sparkplugs in each race, and 23 races total so 69 sparkplugs all together. Just collect them all and the achievement is yours.
Mini Master! - 25 points
Win every Mini Game event
For this one you just have to complete all the mini games, which include Tire find, Autocross, Tractor Stampede, Sheriff's pursuit and Mack Track Challenge. Not hard just might take a little bit of time.
TEAM PLAYER! - 25 points
Win every Academy Challenge
There are 4 events in the academy challenge. You just have to finish in the top 3 so this achievement is rather easy.
Big Ham! - 25 points
Complete every Photo Op
There are 8 photo Ops in the game, you just need to find them and finish them all in the alloted time. Won't be hard to do once you find them all, like I said it is a pretty easy game.
Mack Track Medalist! - 25 points
Score 4000 points in the Mack Track Challenge event
This is another pretty easy achievement. It tells you on the screen what direction to push the RS or pull LT when you go on the jumps, and during the circuit just hold down LT as much as possible.
Daring Devil! - 50 points
Score 5500 points in the Mater the Greater event
Similar to the last one, just pull LT or push RS in the direction it tells you to and be sure to land as close as possible to the middle of the target to score as many points as possible. Getting as much speed as possible will obviously help score better too so just stay in the middle on the board.
Ole'! - 50 points
Score 25000 points in the Materdor event
You have to irritate the tractor in this event and don't let him get you! Just do what it tells you to on the screen like the last to achievements and you should not have any problems with the score related achievements.
Tokyo Triumph! - 50 points
Score 25000 points in the Tokyo Mater event
I find it easier to drift with A than LT, but whatever you have to do to rack up the points then do it. Just drift as much as possible and this should be an easy achievement once again.
Drift Master! - 25 points
Score 4500 points with a single drift
Wouldn't be a racing game without a drifting achievement. Luckily this is a lot easier than the Forza drift achievement! Just go to the desert and get some speed and do a decent drift. Achievement pops right when you get 4500 points.
Crowned Karter! - 25 points
Win every Guido Kart event
There are 9 Guido Kart Events and you just have to finish in the top 3 once again so you will have little to no trouble getting this achievement.
Luigi's BFF! - 25 points
Win every Tire Find event
It says every event, but there is only 1 so just win that one and you will get the achievement.
A Real Go Getter! - 25 points
Win every Transporter event
There are 3 transporter events, just win them all. Not much I can say about these achievements they are very straightforward and the game is very easy. Just win races and events, simple as that.
Perfectionist! - 25 points
Win every Autocross event
7 of these bad boys. Win them all and you get this achievement, and your on your way to the mini game achievement.
Mooo-ving Along! - 25 points
Win every Tractor Stampede event
Once again they say every, but there is only one. It is in radiator springs, just win it and the achievement should pop.
The Law! - 25 points
Win every Sheriff's Pursuit event
Ya, win all 1 of them. Radiator springs once again so head over there and win this event and you get the achievement. Also counts toward winning all the mini games as well.
Podium Perfection! - 25 points
Win every circuit race event
There are 27 circuit races, and you have to come in at least third for this particular achievement, but when you race against Candice, Stinger, El Machismo and Chick Hicks you will want to win, for the achievements for beating them.
Sprinter! - 25 points
Win every Point to Point Race event
There are 5 point to point races. Just win them for the achievement.
Santa Carburera Champ! - 100 points
Beat Candice
Just need to beat Candice at Santa Carburera for this one. The race comes along the story line so you can't miss it, just make sure you beat her.
Big City! - 100 points
Beat Stinger
Story related again, just beat Stinger at Motoropolis to get this achivement.
Autovia Avenger! - 100 points
Beat El Machismo
Story related. Beat El Machismo at Autovia and you are almost ready to take on the champ!
The Champ! - 100 points
Beat Chick Hicks for the Title
Last race in the game. Beat Chick Hicks and there is a new champ in town. And a new 100 GS for you.
OVER ACHIEVER! - 100 points
Earn every achievement
When you have all the other achievement, this one is supposed to pop up, but it doesn't. It is glitched. Not looking like it is going to be fixed anytime soon either. So you will have to settle for 900 GS but a pretty easy 900.
Hope this guide helps, it is a real easy game and the achievements are pretty straightforward so there really isn't much else I could add.
