Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is a really fun game, especially if you used to play the old Tony Hawk games on the Nintendo 64. You get quite a few achievements just for going through the story mode, and the rest are for playing LIVE on each map and for doing classic mode which is all the levels off the old Tony Hawk game.
You have to do all the same objectives as on the old game (find secret tape, find S-K-A-T-E, get 100,000 point combo, etc.). Even if you haven't played the old games, this one is still pretty easy.
NOTE: If you want to get the 100% achievement all on one playthrough, make sure you play through the story mode on SICK difficulty. It is not very hard, especially because there are cheats.
To enter cheats, start from the main menu, then go to 'Options' and 'Cheat Codes'. Enter these:

With these, the game should take you under 10 hours if you're any good at it, or a little more if you've never played Tony Hawk.

To get these, you need to go to Free Skate on whatever map you need the achievement for, go to start Run. You will get 2 minutes to try and get the highest score possible. The score that is preset before you do classic mode is only 2,000 points, which is ridiculously easy. Once you get 2,000 you can pause and go to End Run, or just finish the time sitting there. IT IS MUCH EASIER TO DO THIS BEFORE CLASSIC MODE BECAUSE THE HIGH SCORES WILL BE LOW.

To get this you must complete every challenge in Classic mode. There are 6 maps, each containing 10 challenges. There will be high score challenges, high combo challenges, find the secret tape challenges, collect certain thing challenges, and find S-K-A-T-E challenges. None of them are very hard, even on SICK difficulty. If you are having trouble with any of them, just find a video that will show you how.

This will most definitely be the last achievement you get in this game. To get this, you have to 100% Classic Mode (Finish every goal on every map), 100% Story Mode on SICK difficulty (complete all challenges, find every skate ranch piece), and find every gap in the whole game on every map whether it be in Free Skate, Classic Mode, or Story Mode. This will definitely be the most time consuming part of the whole game, but you can find some great video guides on the internet.
