THE BOURNE CONSPIRACY : ASSASSIN CHEAT GUIDE


TACTICS


There is a cheat for The Bourne Conspiracy, to able to complete the game on the hardest difficulty Assassin, real easy. Simply go through the level on Trainee, then quit at the last checkpoint, switch the difficulty to Assassin and then continue to finish the level. The game will credit you as having completed the whole level as Assassin.


However, you must start a NEW CAMPAIGN. You cannot do this cheat by selecting “Replay Chapters” To switch difficulties, you need to “Exit to Main Menu” then select “Campaign” then “Continue Campaign” It will ask you to choose your difficulty.


If for some reason you forgot to switch during a campaign, just finish the game and you can return by starting a new campaign, then progress to the level you forgot to switch. The game will save any levels completed on Assassin.


Below is the list of last possible checkpoints to switch out of each level. With this cheat you only have to fight two real bosses on Assassin.


Dangerous Beginnings - Mission 1


After a timer, you will eventually locate the boss in a small room. You will start to fight him and when his health falls to 50%, a mini-cut scene will occur and he will jump out of the window. CHECKPOINT. Quit out to the main menu, switch difficulty, then finish the level.


To defeat this boss easy on Assassin, Hold down “A” to block, as you will not lose health. Eventually a mini button game appears (you will hear a sound) to block his takedown attack. Hit the button then quickly bash “ X” and “Y” at the same time.  Do this over and over and he is down.


Shipyard Infiltration - Mission 2


This will be the first boss you actually have to fight on Assassin. Progress through the level until you are alone on a boat. CHECKPOINT. Quit out to the main menu, switch difficulty, then finish the level.


This is a bit difficult, because you have to fight a couple of enemies before the boss, Solomon. Just bash X and Y together and save your adrenaline for the next three enemies. Use your takedowns on them, then use the same tactic as the last boss on mission one. Easy.


Assassinate Wombosi - Mission 3


This will be the last boss you have to fight on Assassin. Yes, it‘s Solomon again. After you exit the bridge control room, you will ascend some stairs to the final boss fight. CHECKPOINT. Quit out to the main menu, switch difficulty, then finish the level.


Use the same tactics as before, and you should have no problem.


Eliminate Divandelen - Mission 4


Once in the plane, you have to go through two mini-fights and a quick action button to defeat this boss. Bash him as normal and eventually he will pull a knife. As soon as you kill him, a cutscene will trigger and a CHECKPOINT. Quit out to the main menu, switch difficulty, then finish the level.


Now all you have to do is jump out of the plane on Assassin.


Escape the Embassy - Mission 5


Once you enter an office room and get thrown a flashbang, CHECKPOINT. Quit out to the main menu, switch difficulty, then finish the level. Bash aside the guard, then you will need to sprint to the next objective points, to finish the level. Use Bourne Instinct, press”Y” to make it easier to know where to go.


Silence Rurik - Mission 6


Progress through the mission until you are in a factory that’s on fire. CHECKPOINT. Quit out to the main menu, switch difficulty, then finish the level.


After you press the button, there are only about four enemies to shoot and the rest of the time, just sprint. Try to keep your distance from the enemies or you will get involved in a fist fight which will waste time. There is an enemy at the top of the stairs, but don’t bother shooting him, as he will get blown away by an exploding door anyway.


Castel Fight - Mission 7


Just play him and beat him on Trainee, then once the fight is over you will get a quick action button mini-game. CHECKPOINT. Quit out to the main menu, switch difficulty, then finish the level. Now all you have to do is finish the quick action button mini-game to finish the level.


Paris Chase - Mission 8


After the last mission, you can continue to play this level on Assassin, as I found very little difference, if any, to playing it on Trainee. However, if you are having trouble, and you want to know when the last checkpoint is, it is when Marie asks you to get ahead of the train.


Disarm Renard- Mission 9


Progress through the level, until you are outside and a timer begins. CHECKPOINT. Quit out to the main menu, switch difficulty, then finish the level.


This could be a little tricky for some, as you will have to be quick and accurate. Try to conserve your takedowns for the real annoying snipers. They can kill you in one shot. Eventually you will turn a corner and get thrown a flashbang. Again, don’t waste your takedowns on these morons. Conserve them for the deadly shooters around the next corner.


If you are doing this level for the first time, it can be a right pain trying to get that silly passport in the corner of the first flight of stairs to the helicopter!


Survive the Professor - Mission 10


This boss fight is infamous for being hard on Assassin, as you have to defeat him in under two minutes. However with this cheat, he becomes super easy to beat.


Progress through the level until you have to fight him. I wouldn’t bother blocking so much as you only have two minutes. Just bash “X” and “Y” together over and over real quick, should do the trick. After you beat him CHECKPOINT. You get thrown out of the barn. Quit out to the main menu, switch difficulty, then finish the level.


Now all you have to do is finish him with a quick action button mini-game.


Treadstone Safehouse - Mission 11


Progress through the level until you get to a church and you will be in a shootout. This boss will try to blow up a tank, but you will eventually throw his ass out of the window.


Fight him outside and eventually when his health is low CHECKPOINT. You can just fail the quick action mini-game, quit out to the main menu, switch difficulty, then finish the quick action button mini-game to complete the game!
