The boosting for this game is really simple. All you do is set up the ships from longest to shortest in the upper left corner. This will help with every achievement just set up the ships and follow on what to do for the achievement.

Sink a ship longer than 3 units without missing

Destroyer'd! - 20 points
Sink your opponent's Destroyer before any other ship
Note: When I got this achievement for me and a few others, I had to sink the 2nd unit ship not the Destroyer, so it may be a glitch.
Captain Win! 10 points
Win one game of Battleship against a friend
This will come after you boost for the first game
Minimal Loss - 20 points
Win at Battleship while keeping at least 3 of your fleet afloat
Note: As long as you make the non-boosting controller shoot anywhere but your ships you will get this achievement as well as Escort Mission.
Escort Mission - 30 points
Finish a game with two ships still afloat that are next to each other
Follow note for Minimal Loss above.
The hunt for Blue November - 20 points
Win a game of Battleship Salvo with your submarine still afloat
Have your non-boosting controller aim away from ships.
Iron Bottom Sound - 30 points
Sink all your opponent's ships in Salvo Mode within 4 turns
If you follow the boosting method you can easily take out all ships by using the five shots in the four turns, to take out a ship or two each turn.

Do not fall for a Decoy
Note: This is in the Super Weapon mode. You don't want to attack your opponent, but instead random shoot until you see a circle appear. Once it does DO NOT hit it as this is the decoy. After you avoid shooting, you will get the achievement.
Sea Commander - 30 points
Win 20 games of Battleship
Boost in normal mode and you should have this in no time.
