Collectible achievement trick
Warning when you delete your save your progress in the game will be lost.
Only do this when you are sure everything else is completed.
A new trick has been discovered for multiple Xbox one games that makes those collectible achievements easier. I ran into this trick when Max: The Curse of Brotherhood glitched for me on the last achievement. I had gathered all of the collectibles so they no longer appeared in the game but the tracker in the achievement app had not registered one of them so it did not unlock. To fix the glitch I simply had to delete my save both from the console and the cloud. After that all I had to do was get the first available collectible in the game adding the extra to the app total and unlocking the achievement.
Today I found a tip using the same method for Peggle 2. The toughest achievements in the game involve completing all 180 optional objectives in the game. Some of these are very tough but by deleting the save I was able to re-do many of the easy ones untill the total added up to the required 180 and the achievement unlocked.
Apparently many achievements work this way storing your progress in the achievement app instead of in the game save file so this may simplify many games unless it gets patched in an update.
