Back to the topic of this thread there is a new free game out now. Android users can now earn achievements for free with Wordament. Best of all the stats from other versions move over to this one so some of the rounds played and achievements like that will automatically unlock after just playing once. The game can be downloaded from the Google play store.

Just a note it only works on ice cream sandwich and above. Bit of an a$$ ache as I have a galaxy ace which can;t handle that abd just gave my nexus 7 to my dad before I came to uni. Wasted five hours trying to get myself an emulator to no avail. Of course i have heard there are free trials of already set up emulators that work. I just wanted to try the hard route and failed =(

Not sure if its a glitch on the market place but most of the Angry birds games are free on WP8(including Star wars 2) and Amazing Alex too, I just downloaded 5 games

I was to slow. I just checked mt phone and they aren't free anymore. At least not in the USA.

Apparently MS are giving away free Killer Instinct game with all characters or an XBONE with a few free games. I got the former, which sucks because I don't actually plan on buying an XBONE to play it on. Check your emails, I hope someone gets a free console.

Maybe somebody more computer savvy than myself can check the validity of this, but there is an article on x360a about it.

Yes sir you are correct if you have a high gamerscore ( not sure how high )you will get killrr instinct free for being a loyal supporter of xbox and microsoft ill post the article up after work

December 1 is on Sunday, and that means a new Xbox Live Games with Gold title is coming online. It also means that you only have a few days left to get Double Fine’s Iron Brigade.

From December 1 through 15, Xbox Live Gold members can download Epic Games’ original Gears of War. The title is a classic, and if you have a chance to watch Cliff Bleszinski’s E-day video, it should bring back some memories.

The second half of the month brings Demiurge’s Shoot Many Robots. This side scrolling good ol’ boy adventure is full of loot and amusing costumes. You can take on the robotic menace alone or with up to three friends.

The Games with Gold program will be coming to Xbox One some time in 2014. So if you're not in a rush to pick up all of the launch titles, you'll probably see them hit the service in a few months.
