What exactly do the stars on your gamertag mean. I know they have something to do with you reputation but then how come you never see anyone with 4,2 or 1 stars. Everyone seems to have 3 or 5

I think, they relate to people either giving you a good or bad "Rep". People who get reported generally end up with Bad rep and they lose stars but to be honest i do not know how this is calculated but would suspect its percentage based.

You start out with 3 stars, your rep slowly goes up if you don't get bad rep from anybody (my account has like 3 and a half stars). However, if people keep filing until it reaches 100% bad, you lose a star, then it starts over.
