PS3 FiNALLY HACKED (PS3Brew Here We Come)

Yes thats right boys and girls,the great GeoHot (famous Iphone hacker) has taken what many have tried to do for the past 3.5+ years , and hacked the PS3 in just over 5 weeks lol. Man its going to be a great 2010 with all these sweet ass games coming out and now the final console finally hacked. Not much info has been released (and for good reason) but he did offer a glimps into the mind/thinking of GeoHot.

Wow I know this is an abox360 site but I thought someone other than me would have been excited about the PS3 finally hacked news.33 views and not one comment lol ,oh well I think its great that something is happening with the PS3 at last. From what I'v been reading it doesn't seem like many have actually tried as it only took GeoHot 5 weeks to crack it.......

There is always a fine line with hacking, im not anti hacking in anyway so long as its not used in a way to ruin anyone else's experience and gameplay. I sure everyone has mixed views, but the Homebrew people will be happy this has happened, along with a few other groups.

Lets just hope its used in a positive way and not as other formats have and used it to alter gameplay giving unfair advantages.

i agree with you there Dooney, i like stuff like homebrew etc but when it comes to hacking things for personal gain in games etc (i.e mw2 hacked prestige and other things) i dont agree with that and its not summat i like to see.
Its bad enough on the pc scene so i really dont want it to become a major issue for the console scene.
