Out today, the new Xbox Live Dashboard Update. If it is anything like the smooth transitional recent Xbox.com update, get ready for your Xbox to be bricked. The update is mandatory, so you can't ignore it unless you don't ever want to play on Xbox Live again...

The update promises - and I will use the word promise loosely here - faster loading, a flatter layout and new fonts. Hopefully once it is rolled out that they fix some the issues at Xbox.com, including the annoying achievement lists. Presently for a totally non-logical reason, they are in alphabetical order instead of when they are unlocked. Very useful.
