Developers Ruffian are looking to have another crack at Crackdown while Square Enix registers Final Fantasy XIII-2. Two contentious titles from last year that would raise some serious eyebrows...
Only because each of these titles didn't do as well as expected and yet they get sequels. Crackdown 2 was poorly received by critics for being nowhere as inventive and fun as the first and Final Fantasy XIII took over 30 hours to explain the battle system, which gamers found a little too long. Linear and repetitive don't even cover it. Let these developers have another stab and at least they can re-use the same assets.
