Sources close to Rockstar and familiar with the matter - via Gamespot - have indicated that Grand Theft Auto V is nearing a "very likely" 2012 release. These sources have also indicated that game will be huge in scale, although they did not confirm as we have reported, that the game will be set in Los Angeles...

As long as Rockstar go back to a more San Andreas style of game play where you actually get proper filthy rich - unlike Niko Bellic - and fly planes and jets, they can't go wrong. Oh yeah, and the ability to spawn a tank would be nice.
