Out of seemingly nowhere yesterday, came the official announcement of Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar have now also posted the countdown to the trailer. These are the days when we need a countdown for a trailer - not the release date - because the trailer is an event in itself...

Seeing that the announcement is around now and the trailer due next week, it wouldn't be hard to imagine a Christmas 2012 release. May be even sooner as I am sure no matter which date, it will still sell truckloads.
