Tactically it is cat and mouse, as I am pretty sure EA waited until Call of Duty : Black Ops was confirmed for November before announcing an October 12 release for Medal of Honor. Actually let me re-phrase this as a game of chicken...

 

I say EA should go head-to-head with Treyarch's Call of Duty Black Ops on November 9. Why? Because people will then be split and possibly pick up the wrong game by accident if EA get the box cover to look the same. They probably won't figure it out until after the first mission. Or if they are indecisive like me, pick up both. It's a win-win situation. So what do EA do? Chicken out and release it in October.

 

Medal of Honor is due October 12 (NA) and October 15 (EU)
